Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
Canada-based Cielo Waste Solutions and its contractors have completed optimisation of the design of the world’s first waste to renewable fuels refinery at Aldersyde in Alberta, Canada.

BA Chief Executive Alex Cruz said the UK could lead the world in developing and producing SAF. The airline also provided an update on its project with Velocys to produce renewable jet fuel from municipal waste.
Another positive change has been the arrival of the big oil companies into the sustainable aviation fuels market, he added. “They weren’t there previously and now we’ve seen the BP move with Fulcrum, and Shell has signed up to support the Velocys/BA project. Again, this is important for investors.”
Investment by BA and Shell in the project is “one of the potential outcomes,” he said, “which will become clearer once it reaches financial close and the financial partners are announced.”

How sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is making its way in the aviation sector:-

Looks like profit taking to me.
More here:-
London, United Kingdom - Shell Aviation and World Energy have today announced a collaboration to develop a scalable supply of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The agreement is intended to be a multi-year collaboration, with both companies acknowledging that the path to lower carbon emissions in aviation requires long-term commitment and collaboration.

Ah, you got me there Myrtle, I do like a good race and even formula e runs on rubber. My environmental conscious some years back did make me invest in other tech such as ITM and PHE though which seem to be catching on.
BTW PHE say they can convert those used tires to energy..........
Maybe as part of those offsets Jet Blue and BA could help replant the forests currently burning in Australia and the lungs of the planet in the Brazilian rain forest. Most of the talk here this morning is on profit and gain without seemingly looking at the wider picture. The environmental benefits of VLS shouldn't be realised as profit in your pocket but a profitable benefit for the planets urgently needed cry for help IMHO. You lot are a disgrace......
The recent long spur research study valued VLS @, “we value the shares at 21p. More active compliance within the constraints of feedstock resources would give us a valuation of 36p and active expansion of these resources could take us to 50p."
I'd encourage all those interested in making anything other than a quick buck here to study this report and to DYOR. BTW heavily discount anything the Brat has to say........

Yikes:-
For the year of 2018 Hapag Lloyd consumed 3.8m tons of high sulphur fuel and 562 thousand tons of low sulfur fuel, so it would be $770m worth of extra bunker cost if the carrier replaces all non-compliant fuels to meet IMO2020 requirements, while its total bunker cost amounted to $2bn (18% of its total cost) in 2018. That means an astonishing 39% increase to its full year bunker cost, and for an industry with greatly narrowing profit margins, the number can be devastating to any industry players who have been struggling not to dip into the red for years.

Scrubber installation waiting list ‘very long’ as IMO 2020 kicks in: Wartsila: -

Seems those shippers are queuing up for scrubbers, one day maybe not too far away they will be queuing up for synthetic fuel oil (MSAR) as well.
You getting a ramp on again Stew. Why mention Sirius in the same breath, BTW lets hope they (SXX) recover those losses felt by many including myself? In fact when I first started with VLS they were at 170p at that time. In 2013 Neville Hargreaves is quoted as saying VLS had $300 million invested in its technology with over 800 patents. However many agree with your message, VLS is seriously undervalued!

Another mistruth published by the Brat, actually a turd can be polished:-

Not to worry EB, take some more of your Prozac, things may look a little brighter for you thereafter BTW is your recycling centre open tomorrow.
"A move towards a more sustainable bio-based economy has been given a boost by researchers at the University of Manchester who have been able to simplify a process to transform waste materials into biofuels and other valuable chemicals."

'The department estimates that low carbon fuels are expected to save nearly 85 million tonnes of CO2 between 2018 and 2032 - roughly equivalent to taking around 18 million cars off the road. This reduction also equates to around a third of transport’s projected contribution to UK carbon savings during the 2020s.
And the DfT claims the UK advanced fuels industry is expected to be worth over £400 million over the next decade. The sector is also expected to create 9,800 jobs."

Well Loosely can you point out where I have deviated from the facts.
WRT the gasification my understanding is that TRI are the gasification partner for VLS wrt Bayou & Altalto. Incidentally the Fulcrum project uses the same TRI gasification technology as Velocys.
Well I do understand the facts and Velocys potential, so do many others . Quite a number of posters here called you out as a shorter but its becoming increasingly obvious to me that you either are on prozac or need to be.....
