Hog,
Your tactic of smothering the board with drivel seem to be working, nobody left but you. Your 'high quality' assessment of your posts reveal just how demented you are.
Who is paying you hog? Even you cannot believe the rubbish you sprout. Mr Market has their number.
Not yet, may have to spread the word
Awax, Gloster has explained the procedure, a few posts down. The motion would be to wind up the company, sell all assets and issue a special dividend to all shareholders.
If you want to pursue calling an EGM, please email me at orm1pegm@gmail.com
and I'll do the admin on counting the votes and share holdings.
Anyone with enough shares to get Gloster's advice actioned? TA had 10% at the last count, so if your watching Tom and want to get paid over 1p, there's the route. It would certainly get my vote as we will have to wait a long time to hear how much the retiring directors took with them, then learn just what the 'new' board have burnt.
Gloster,
Letting off steam is a natural part of the grieving process, which this board has kindly facilitated. I read your earlier post on the AoA, calling an EGM does not appear to be that straightforward? How would you see that being called?
Just bad luck, are you for real? If the Barruecopardo financial plan was competent, we would still have a mine. Any worthwhile Financial Accountant knows how to plan for Actual, Budget and Variance, they must have lost that chapter though, through more bad luck.
Your constant pumping of the board for their sole achievement 15 years ago, is wearing thin. Vote for the special dividend and liquidate this folly.
Hog,
I'm very much supportive of T's comments regarding the directors behavior, just the fact that they have not disclosed their visit and we have to learn of it on message boards, is not the start they promised. They were 100% responsible for not arranging a competent financial plan for Barruecopardo and had to parachute from the project as a result.
Please spare us from your next general financial parable as it is more than patronising.
Same board with a couple of buskers found down at ORRible. One a liar is an adage that holds water, consider yourself corrected. The plan from the new ceo is taking shape and will determine what comes next.
Hog's having a day off, so, another of the team takes over on the pump today. See their prepared stock replies to any rebuttals.
Yes, he's been hard on the gas for a month now, same old rhetoric in each post, so he must have taken a fair sized bet. It's all down to the plan now as I reckon 10% man has been reducing, would be good to see a % holding update.
Christ, how do you come up with this crap, he's been with Ormonde since 2015 and has done nothing.
Trouble is JD, we cannot trust them to come up with anything that makes money, should ORR feature in any proposal they will get roasted. The new board is as poor as the old board, that you applauded following the last AGM.
Yes that's been mooted before during and after the EGM, but they're not listening. Even Tom Anderson did not vote with the board, they've not got the support of shareholders and presumably will need another EGM to approve their plans. Perhaps we could send them a hedgehog or two.
Yes, ORR does not read well, would not touch it or those that put it where it is. How do we get rid of this board?
Totally agree, their last hire was Steve Nichol and look at what he managed to **** up.
Morning JD,
Seems that the keyboard warriors here remained silent at the EGM. It appears that around 2% of the voting rights carried the management proposal and no other voices challenged them to return the funds to shareholders. The modest improvement in the share price allowed a few of us to get out, here's hoping that the announcement of the cash lodgement will do so, again.
Did they happen to mention the pension and salary awards of the new and retiring directors?
Hmm Johnny, sometimes your neighbor raises a red flag to stop you stepping into yet another cesspit.
The company has performed poorly for a long time. Investors had expected to cash in from the tungsten mine following years of good company PR, only to receive an exit strategy. We do not know the salaries and pension awards for director retirements (2) and recent hires (2). Overall, I would see the share price hover at current levels until time or news moves it.
