The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Justhereforhemo - i've just come late to Hemo and have taken a smallish position with a view to increasing it as required.
I see that despite your 'paper losses' you remain very positive about Hemo. I like their story based on my initial assessment of the technologies and potential pipelines etc.
What do you see as their greatest potential ? Appreciate any comments - no obligations etc.
I take views on board as appropriate but I remain and I repeat remain responsible for my investment decisions.
I do not blame others other than when I find certain posts annoying, self opinionated, spiteful etc.
That's the investment game... you decide you invest...you decide don't invest.... Its not their money its your money.
Yes - originally 1m - now hold 200k.
I always thought individuals were free to invest as they decided. Have we a Sage or Wise Man on this BB and do we need to bow to his wisdom- us lesser mortals?
It is clear that their are strengths in this technology as evidenced by University research studies, pilot programs, modelling etc.
There are 250 odd coal plants alone in USA providing 23% of electricity with total of 236GW. However coal plants are being closed annually about 5GW per annum. Natural gas and renewables increasing rapidly. The question is will momentum gather for existing coal plants to switch over and will the regulatory/policy environment support this changeover. Its possibly game changing technology for coal fired plants but will enough take it up. Personally I believe in the technology but will be operators be allowed or encouraged to make the necessary switch.
Happydays2020- if I were you I would give up on this battle with 4kandles. Its not as funny as the old Two Ronnies Sketch - featuring the guy going into shop and asking for '4 candles'.
There is a similar guy on ADVFN going on continuously about a pharmaceutical company - think he may have been banned off here.
Keep up the positive posts- were not guaranteed everything but its a reasonable 'punt' - maybe a lot more than that!
Hi Happydays- that’s a good summary. I’m in with a reasonably holding. Really appreciate you taking the time for a comprehensive reply. We need news and much of it. Anyway- best regards.
Happydays2020- overall I'm optimistic for this company but its largely a services based entity.
Just to remind me - what is their unique selling point and what are the barriers to entry for other competitors. I'm a reasonable sized holder but would welcome your opinions. Thanks.
