how often TR1 needs to be released?? I have 2 weeks in my head... Fosun could be just accumulating on the sly and then release TR1 at the very latest. The way I see it, Airlines will be sold, remaining part of the business will be sold to Fosun and then they can restructure the business whichever way they wish.

Furthermore, no one really knows how much everyone is bidding... and they would not want competitors acquiring the asset too. So whilst TCG is in financial difficulty and need to offload the asset, bidding war will insure that it is not sold on the cheap

European private-equity firm Triton is set to close its latest flagship fund on the vehicle’s €5bn ($5.6bn) upper limit, said people familiar with the matter, as investors continue to pour money into their favorite buyout funds.

So let me get this right...

Fosun been raising stake in TCG as early as 20 days ago. Fosun joint sponsors were Citigroup, CLSA and JPMorgan are the joint IPO sponsors. One of Fosun’s directors is Zhang Shengman, who until 2016 chaired Citi’s Asia Pacific arm.

Conveniently, Citi is releasing opinion that TCG is worthless, significantly decreasing value of the share and instantly putting company in distress...

I am almost certain the big from Fosun is imminent, question is at what price.

Can explain to me why people are questioning company's liquidity when couple of weeks ago they released the following RNS:

As stated in our first quarter trading announcement of 7 February 2019, Thomas Cook kept a healthy level of liquidity headroom through the last winter cash low period, maintaining a minimum liquidity buffer within our targeted range of £150 million to £200 million.

Since that update, the business has moved into its key summer booking period where the Group's liquidity position continues to strengthen. Looking ahead to Winter 2019/20, we have taken the proactive step of engaging in discussions with our lending banks now to ensure we have both the financial flexibility necessary to maintain an appropriate liquidity buffer through the winter, and also the ability to continue to invest in our strategy of growth.

Peter Fankhauser, Chief Executive Officer of Thomas Cook, said: "We have taken a number of prudent early steps to de-risk our business by taking out capacity in a challenging consumer environment.
