Soz, I've calculated my unprotected AIM holdings to below CGT, so I don't pay it.
There are CGT rate on AIM shares, so do your sums, between what's liable and what's in pension/ISA protection.

Bung everything else in an ISA or SIPP.

Also safe from I.H.T. (currently).

The Telegraph supported Leave before the referendum.
Not always, the investing team originally supported Remain until an editorial said that the Telegraph would support Leav and that was the only sensible thing to do.
That was before the referendum.
Occasionally you can see which contributors disagree, but not enough to put their job on the line.
It's the paper I have always read though I did not agree with it, or the referendum result, and consider myself a socialist.

Think you'll find they can still lose the investment they've made since then though.
Whereas others may have banked more than they have left invested.
I still think they're right to buy at this level though and can understand why they're so keen to talk it up.

1,000,000 shares is only around £7,000.00 at the moment.
Not very much of a transaction for any business.
I'm not trading at the moment (in UKOG anyway), but when I do it's in £10k chunks.
More than some, less than others, but I'm not a big trader.

But I also keep a foot in Yellow and green as well.
I always set up advance instructions to Buy/ Sell for all the options I think might happen, just in case.
HL allows me to do that up to 90 days ahead.
