There was a 30:1 split so 40c equates to €12. That would be nice. a return to dividends and steady growth would be even good as opposed to this up and down. The automatic share algorithms however love this.
Agree. Allowing people to pay mortgages on the drip is not good for banks. Courts tend to side with the smaller party. Banks are also under massive scrutiny. They really need to have all their ducks in a row.
Thanks All who have filtered. This forum is starting to look better already.
This is a long term hold for me as hopefully dividends are restored and give me a better return than on deposit. I too think that the bank is settling itself up nicely as inflation kicks in and interest rates creep up slowly.
JohnHume wm2020 and cooking if ye do the same it will mean we can chat amongst ourselves and the other person with the triple personality can chat to him or herself ;-)
Thanks Dublinroy and Howth. Maybe Torquay will come back now :-)
Guys yet again I implore you to just filter SH/PC/FBS as I have. Unfortunately still I'm only seeing posts commenting on their posts and of no interest to me. Please filter them and we can all chat between ourselves properly. Thanks in advance and I look forward to some insightful discussions.
Hi All
I have filtered out most of the messers here. However this leaves me with few actual posts and the few I see are replying to the messers.
If everyone filters these out then we can take back control of this board and actually talk about the share and not the €50 made on a trade or what was had for breakfast. Technically we can make this a new board and let the messers have theirs.
Hi John
Why don't we all just filter FBS, Playing cards and Silverhorse right now. Then we can have the proper conversation regarding this share.
I'm doing it now.
I couldn't agree more John. They don't need more bricks and mortar and staff. Most traditional banks are trying to cut down on costly premises and labour costs. This is the only way to streamline their old models.
Hi. Mine are increasing as normal. Strange!
Again I note that neither fatboyslims nor siverhorses' posts number are increasing as they post. Hmmmm! Strange!
Silver horse I noticed that your posts number don't increase as you post. Hmm!
Only in jest. We dropped from 5.15 due to Covid so let's hope for that again. My average is 4.55 so will average down when funds allow.
I've a feeling that you're going to end being a long term investor like the rest of us now.
No word on the bowel movements :-)
Yes but there may be implications regarding the credit rating of the ones who avail of it. I took the first 3 month break but am dubious about taking the second.
Done :-)
Maybe you might let us know when to buy back in again also.
You could be right bmc. Either way its still an increase on last year.
