Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
I agree, but unless we see a more regular news flow I think there are plenty of early investors, who, disappointed they missed the 180-210 price, will be looking for exit points on the way back up. I am in for the long term but I do think it might take a quite a while (and a lot of very good news backed by II's) to break out past 220 ish.
But it will.... (all being good!)
I quite enjoy reading the technical analysis even though I am definitely a LTH. (bought in at an average at 175p - late to the party) . I am purely looking ahead to 2023/2024 and getting a nice yield on my investment. (or getting a payday if we get bought out), but it is still fun to monitor the price.
I am new to the share but of course Markets (i.e. the big players) love certainty . The SP had a significant re-rate on news of the FSP and the longer that goes on then the SP will drift down. Any other news about potential new areas of exploration/estimates of underground potential etc (and directors appointments!) are just uncertain 'noise' and will not impact the market. under this backdrop.
I think it is as simple as that. From a short term position the share looks like a bet on the FSP outcome. If it is fully resolved with a sale (or maybe a significant part asset sale) then the SP will re rate again, if it doesn't then the SP will re rate down. LTH's who have faith in the fundamentals/Board should really just look away for now and just wait for the RNS.
I wont lie that I am new to this and see it as a bet on the FSP at the moment . I am small fry but I suspect some bigger traders are also of this view.
They can't JP. Stories of MM manipulation are generally exaggerated. They make their money on highly volatile, highly traded stock. EUR has had less than 400 trades today so I can't see it being a big deal share for them. They also have to 'close' their positions under UK regulations so whilst they can play games during the day/3 days overt he course of days and weeks the market will determine the price.
Yes that's true Spursfan, its not really needed if it does go that way. I guess I was trying to look on the positive side as I can see why it's used negatively. Doesn't mean the shareholder wont win in either case mind, the numbers could be big even if the parties don't quite align.
I think the poison pill can also be used to defend against a potential acquirer who is in the official sale process but who is believed may become hostile if the FSP process is ended without a binding offer. So, if, and I mean if, as it is not a palatable theory, a potential acquirer has made it clear (either officially or unofficially) in the FSP process that they are only going to offer x whilst the board is holding out for z, then the board may become concerned that if the FSP process ends that the potential acquirer may then start to buy up shares at the current SP confident that it will only drive up the price to either x or y (so in between x and z) before it assumes control. The defence is also valid if the FSP is drawing to a close and the Company fears new potential acquirers are waiting in the wings.
I have NO idea if this is the case here, I am only a recent small holder and still at the investigating stage really . But I have seen this tactic/defence referred to previously .
On the positive side it could also mean a deal is very very close and the Company is putting up the shutters to any other hostile bids whilst the preferred buyer is being announced and put to shareholders.
I have asked this question before as I find active funds/institutions participation a good barometer for growing Companies. However, the funds I can see here are all index trackers so far.
But, with an FPS in play then EUA would not probably pass an active funds criteria so perhaps at the moment it is not a good indicator anyway.
Looks good and nice to get some volume into the share this morning. He did make it sound like they are still searching for demand though. Would be nice if they would announce a couple of decent contracts or the SP might drift for a while.
If any of us knew that then we would be 'insider trading' if we answered it ! :)
Are they all interconnected? If they are waiting for the first two to release the the third then all we can do is guess when the feasibility results may come out as that feels like the biggest unknown. The planning permission must be a couple of weeks (I guess)
The biggest question mark is in 'delays' to the Business Plan. Do you take the view that they were always going to have to wait for the permissions/feasibility results before releasing it , or do you take the lack of news a sign that there are 'issues' with it. Who knows.
Sorry 'Daddy', I almost stopped reading when you said 'son' as it sounds patronising. But you may be using it as some sort of in joke based on your user name , and it has been many years since some one has called me that so fine.
But your next paragraph doesn't tell me anything more than the actual statement . What is difference now? You do realise the statement is written by the Auditors and not 'The Company' . And of course the Company has no history of production and no revenues. I am genuinely of the opinion that you don't really have an idea abut this Company and at what stage of its life it is. If you want Companies with a history of Production and Revenues and that don't need to raise significant further capital then this area of investment is not for you, which is fine and probably very sensible given the amount of these that don't work out for Private Investors. The odds are that you are correct not to invest yet, but that's the just nature of the beast. Whatever the success (or otherwise) factors are for this Company the fact that they need to raise Capital within teh next 12 months really isnt one of them. If you have specific concerns about the scale, cost and likelihood of raising that Capital then sure, happy to hear it.
