Katstrangler, think you are missing out the key words I used “if the market reaction is disappointment”. Quite obviously wasn’t claiming to have had a crystal ball, just saying that usually (from my experience only) if a share has been rallying into results which then disappoint, it is usually a recipe for a fall. Yes but CMCX had been rallying for a few weeks, so if the market reaction is disappointment there was always going to be quite a drop.

Saw RNS this morning and my thoughts were: great profits are up, but why is revenue flat? You can't indefinitely increase profits just through cost savings... Where is the revenue growth? Have held for over a year, have swung between gains and losses, and am now around 7% down (not counting some nice divis). Probably will just keep holding, but would like to see sustained revenue growth.

They say there's an impact to the US business, but it's small overall and they've done well so no change to overall expectations. Not sure how the market will react, but I like it.

In the past W7L shares have often rallied in the lead-up to results/TUs. It's probably an optimistic trade hoping the growth rate may not have stalled quite as much as suggested by the last update, and that there may be early signs of the Brand Architekts acquisition being a success.

You're right, I'd totally forgotten! Hopefully if there is one it's because sales over Christmas have been much better than expected, and not the reverse.

Due any day now. Last two were 11 and 12 Jan; the year before was 1 Feb. Eager to hear how business is going!

Good results but perhaps the market is slightly underwhelmed given the high rating afforded to GAW and/or noting the cautious tone in the outlook, particularly about tariffs and ongoing cost inflation. I hold.

Getting walloped -10%+ for an excellent set of results that was in line with expectations! Mad. Might buy a few more.

The final divi to be paid is actually UP 5.2% from 15.3c to 16.1c per share, so the divi reductions are now seemingly over. They said last year they were rebasing them, and the CEO today said organic R&D investment is the first priority.

Heathrow expecting record passenger numbers this year, estimating 83.9m people, 2.9m more than the previous record set in 2019.

Should be bullish for retailers with captive markets in the travel sector...

Absolutely. Provided no market crashes, I expect this to rally towards the Interims around a month away.

Nice. Me too, I bought on 18th March so have seen a 33% rise already. Usually my buys go the other way ("come second" as we say in the legal world!). 😂

That would be illegal. Much more likely that buyers are speculating on good results/forecasts tomorrow.

Good to see today's update. Yet another upgrade from one of the best run companies on AIM.

The "read across" from Ulta, causing the recent fall, was always a ridiculous market reaction.

Bought here when some were suggesting all the SP growth was done. So far I've made nearly 30% in just over 3 months. One of the best companies I've seen on AIM. Growing, very profitable, debt-free, dividend-paying.
