Genuine discussion request please - not the usual ramp/deramp. I'm invested quite heavily in aviation - was hoping for the post covid recovery that's never come. I'm going to post the same question on the easyJet board.

So - we've got a lot of industrial action, but nothing surprising....and cost of living challenge continues, but as expected. Inflation seems to have topped and oil prices dropped. Ukraine/Russia seems to be a constant for medium term at least.

Why are we (and other airlines, eg. Easy) soooo far from pre-covid - and failing to make the breakthrough to a sustained recovery?

Nothing to apolohgise for @Get_Rich_Quick.....I'm pleased to be seeing people beginning to claw back some of the last 6+ months losses at long last. We all have different averages and exit points, I'm gradually playing catch up with mine, and glad others are too (it was an awful sinking feeling when the SP was plummeting). I also have similar (but slightly worse situation) for easyJet, so fingers crossed in another 6 months things will feel a lot less uncomfortable at least. keep plugging away :)

I'm in the same boat, though still a bit down. Started trading it at £2, and bought on the way down....Ran out of funds when my average was £1.54....so still some way to go, but feeling a bit better now anyway. I'm now a long term investor by the looks of it, Fingers crossed.

Hi - anyone have any insight into Norse Atlantic? Due to start flying to US shortly - but had some false starts.....wondering if they're likely to make a go of it....

I am in a similar position. 256,000 shares at 9.7p. About £20k worth. Held since july 20. While ive made about 10k on trades during the time, had planned to sit it out long term. Now, just thinking about cashing in and losing 80% plus. Not sure what other option there is really. Any views?
