covid will burn itself out as will short positons in cine...

well in fact, it better for cinemas to be wide open to customers in order that they prepare for the rush when covid subsides and business returns to normal :)
carpfisher... go fish carp: im a long time member of lse yes but havent really invested since i lost my job due to covid;
you may call me a member but i just call you a plain old d*ck.
:) thanks for the PME info others..
..relatively new to investing in stocks. Is a price monitoring extension good or bad news? Looked it up but jargon used makes me none the wiser..
... forget it fatboy; this is one you lost... you can't win em all. Maybe try a true investment instead of a short next time. Wait let me find you a possible share you could make money when it rises.... er er er maybe look up EUA.
:)
Disruptor many ppl would be envious at your buy-in point of 22p! good luck
it's been a long wait but i held firm here in my investment and glad i did
new to EUA.. what kind of price do people think this will level out at?
:)
my buy price was 20.49p with HL
i think its the 200 codes the derampers dread :)
IT's my sincere opinion the public will 'get bored ' of covid: perhaps even see through the way the media is reporting the numbers. X number of cases today then so many deaths FOR ANY CAUSE after a positive test. What? So how many people died of covid? I could keep asking this question in pretty much ANY report about covid on ANY news channel.. how many people died of covid? No one will give you a straight answer..
Hence I think although on people's minds they will begin to go back to nights out/socialising as much as permitted... and going to the pictures.
..yes of course NOFEAR. Johnht.. indepth etc are short term thinkers, ofcourse with vested interests in getting people to sell; with us genuine investors, their efforts are futile. Maybe if they were more deeper thinking individuals they would consider a long term position here themselves and wait for the steady rises most certainly ahead. :)
Weak sellers WILL sell at a loss johnht; the more deeper thinking true investors are holding hence your dreams of 20p and the like are not being realised... onward and upward from here it's plain to see.
I believe in gewillias ideas: at the MOMENT I've set my sell price at 310p; optimistic but im going to leave it there for a while
Unfortunately johnht, i reiterate nobody has lost anything until they hit the sell button; those who are LOSING havent LOST a penny; those who hold WILL NOT. Come on man get with it. This is not a 'ramp' but a clear belief cinema is not dead. Neither is Cineworld. Otherwise this sharechat wouldn't exist.. have a think.

BEST mate
...we haven't 'lost savings' johnht: we won't lose savings until we hit the sell button which we won't be as we firmly believe the SP to rise steadily as covid subsides.....
indepth and the like are obviously getting worried with that latest director buy!
CINE isn't going to die; Cinema in general isn't going to die. We will all be looking back at this time and thinking we should have been brave and held/bought in !
On HL site.. SYME is 9th most watched share today; far more buys than sells this past week.
...will it be worth holding if the 272p deal goes through..?
