Thanks Eazy…. Even if the 400 is optimistic and they hit 200 I’d be happy…
As boring as this may sound… I’ve spent the morning reading up on a few JV partners. Not all as there are 1498 oilers in Wyoming … if nothing else it’s really interesting understanding how much money is invested globally on both resource extraction and now carbon capture. All being driven by the panacea of net zero.
Exxon’s investment programme globally is phenomenal. 10’s of billions… in fact I’ve now considered these guys for the portfolio, albeit at £108 per share… solid and increasing dividends year on year… if a JV is with these guys, which I’m not so sure of, simply because I’m not that lucky, and it seems too good to be true… they will chew through the production fields 10 fold… the area could and would be unrecognisable in a few years…
I also like the look of Denbury… anyway have a good day guys and gals…

Stop deramping Bigbear… seriously…. :)
Agreed T… keeps the lawyers chestnuts roasting until the ink has dried.
I’m sure others are thinking the same thing re the interview yesterday. Around the part when Art said he had to adjust or tweak the proposal… I watched it thinking… ‘He’s gone balls in on a ridiculous high deal / numbers’, only then to wind them back a little as the Dutch Auction ensued. After all Art knows exactly how many aces are in his hand; (I’d say 3 from the dealer and a good hunch the 4 is on the River)…
Tiburn… your posting has been exemplary this year fella… keep up the good work and Merry Christmas
Morning all
Nice little rise…
Tiburn… I personally don’t think a bidding war will ensue. The deal which has been provisionally agreed with the ‘large oiler’, like Exxon, will be well thought out and incredibly lucrative for us. Also Art has said he knows and has worked with the team before so reputationaly Art wouldn’t want to burn well established bridges. After all it’s a small world in Wyoming and everyone knows everyone. Hence why the offer from Exxon will I would imagine be sufficient.
These are exciting times ahead.
Big gap ups coming later…
Could be a very joyous morning
Is there anyone out there???
It’s a good watch Shaa. As I said I’ll put money on the JV partners board having to sign it off. Thursday 5th Jan. To late for their Dec board. Im actually quite excited…
Happy days
ART123… the interview today was calm, collected and full of very useful information which real shareholders understand and appreciate.
So the finance takes few extra weeks… no problem…
So the JV opportunity needs to be taken up through their BOD (which incidentally shows just how big this jv company is… the ceo of Exxon will need at least 6weeks notice to find diary time… I would imagine their monthly board will sit the first week back into the new year. Where it will be voted on. Corridor walking and briefing packs circulated) No problem.
Traders and bb lice bad mouthing and embarrassing themselves. No problem.
I’m sat here all cosy and warm thinking of the next few months. A well deserved rerate on its way.
Happy days
Just ignore the ******s!
Cheers Fred…
I’m sure I should know this…. Do we have reserve teams which allow 7days a week drilling? 24/7 operators
Super… LOL!
I too thought that post was well constructed and a true reflection Illusion… thanks.
Let’s stand back and consider the JV for a moment.
Even the smallest ‘large company’ in the region would be a tremendous bonus for COPL. Little ole COPL who let’s face it had pretty much feck all 12-18months ago.
Since my rant on Sunday, which was a phenomenal, aggregated lack of sleep, I’ve been trying to sit in the Ironside, HH, Paul etc camp… I’ve reread the bond info and looked again at the various presentations.
Maybe we should be 2-3 months ahead of where we are. Let’s even say 6 months. That would be assuming everything ran like clock work… every duck was lined up. Every deal ran to schedule. Every weather forecast was about average for the time of year…
My experience tells me that life and business is not always like that. **** happens. Knock on cumulative small issues suddenly mean, let’s say a months delay.
Now starting from scratch with a fresh sheet of paper. Ignoring what might have happened. Ignoring the bond and the possibility of a better finance deal… What have we on the table and what does the next 6months look like. I’ll let each investor think about that.
I was asked this morning what info was presented in todays RNS which was new and positive. I’d say not a huge amount… Except:
A JV partner is in the final throws… legal arrangements to wind up…
New drilling has been approved and is imminent…
For me I like the out look and despite desperately trying to see the negatives they’re just not there.
Eazy... I've chased Ironside up on Telegram.... Maybe he missed the question you asked at 09.19. Let's all wait for the answer. Hands up if you think he's going to answer...
Jem… VAST are not in the same league. Terrible effort.
Thanks Art and the team for pushing on and creating value for all. Incidentally when he refers to the cold I was surprised to see that the night time temp tonight / tomorrow is -26 & -30…
Re finance, JV and drilling to commence early jan2023…
Have a great break everyone. I’ve seen enough
Happy days
Xxx
Trujerk... What a terrible effort. I was expecting someone to post along those lines... You fella get the turkey of the day award!!!
Well done all and thanks for sharing
Evening all.
Apologies for the 2024 date error last Friday… absolutely meant 2023…
Well it’s been an interesting few weeks. Let’s see how quickly the Glencore engine can move us forward… I would imagine it’s been a tough gig for AT getting this far. 2024 for a game changing step forward.
Completely agree Wookie.
