George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I was under the impression that HMG taxes the divi prior to payment to shareholders - so that a PI with an ISA doesn't pay tax (because the total divi sum already has been).
I couldn't find a reference for it on HMG website other than "you do not pay tax in a isa", which could answer both points of view. Either way, I'll be richer than I am now!
I have a question along similar lines ...
If there is a bid for (as an example) 55p, but another for 60p, at what point are we told?
i.e. Is there an RNS for the first bid, then the second... third... etc until we reach the final price
...
Or do we just get the final bid amount in one RNS and we can jump around in joy?
Thanks in advance, Si

Just running some numbers to ensure a reality check on the value of Hav alone.
Assumptions:
-An average Gold Price of $1400
-3,774,206,631 shares in issue
-1 USD to 0.80 GBP
-Not including any other metals
-Not including any costs
Potential Amt of Au = Value at $1400 = Price per share USD = Price per share GBP
5Mil Oz = $7 billion = $1.85 per share = £1.48
10 Mil Oz = $14 billion = $3.71 per share = £2.97
15 Mil Oz = $21 billion = $5.56 per share = £4.45
20 Mil Oz = $28 billion = $7.42 per share = £5.94
Now this is where I need a little clarification, with the farm-in NC can own either 70 or 75%...leaving GGP with 25% right? So presumably that would make the £ figures above to the following:
£1.48 = £0.37p
£2.97 = £0.74
£4.45 = £1.11
£5.94 = £1.48
However these second set of figures seem a little light, considering there's no costs included. Am I making a mistake somewhere?
Good morning Tiddlor - thank you for your insight, very much appreciated!
I’ve ran through some calculations again yesterday afternoon and I’ve got a little strategy sorted to average up - as you say, free money at this stage. GLA! Best, Si
