ODX were predominately reliant on the DHSC raising a purchase order to manufacture LFTs via loaned equipment.

ABDX own all of their equipment and aren’t reliant on the DHSC.

Nothing but buys since 3pm and now over a million shares traded. There hasn’t been over a millions shares traded in a day since 13th Apr…

Highest volume in over 2 weeks with circa 180k shares traded at 3:10pm (buys showing as sells). GLP tweeting again this afternoon but nothing to do with the ABDX case. If all they had to evidence in the High Court was what they highlighted within their 10 tweet thread on Tuesday, then their case (like others) is very weak IMO. With the case now coming to a close, hopefully we’re in receipt of some form of a press release from the DHSC or ABDX tomorrow.

RNS from 18th Nov 2021 (almost 6 months ago now): ‘’There have been two separate meetings with DHSC in an effort to find a resolution through mediation to this issue. During the second mediation both parties reached a non-binding agreement in principle which would, if concluded, lead to the outstanding monies being substantially collected and resolve all outstanding disputes with DHSC.’’

With the judicial review now out of the way, one would think that the non-binding agreement will conclude, and ABDX will be paid >£8m for tests delivered to the DHSC and components purchased on behalf of the DHSC.

As many know, the monies owed equates to over half of ABDX’s current Market Cap.

Within the Legal Justification it states the following: ‘’Mass testing of the UK Population is a key step in bringing the Pandemic under control. (Lateral Flow Tests produce quicker results than the current PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test, and do not require a lab processing step).’’

It also states: ‘’ Worldwide manufacturers with tests validated for use in the UK were invited to make manufacturing proposals including licencing production and were considered on the basis of a range of criteria including (but not limited to) cost, performance and ability to provide security of supply. GAD were identified via this process.‘’

This is confirmation that the GAD tests will be used in the UK. GAD was setup to provide diagnostics to both the UK and International markets.

The rapid antigen test that Mologic has CE marked is the same as the test that GAD are manufacturing and that Omega will be manufacturing. GAD can only manufacture ~800k p/w and the Gov need 14m p/w. They will take all that they can from all UK-RTC members, Mologic, GAD, Surescreen and whoever else from the UK that can manufacture high quality rapid LFTs.

Twatcher, the £912m contract is specifically for lateral flow antigen tests. Nothing to do with antibody tests.

1. Pricing for the UK-RTC/AbC-19 tests is better than expected.

2. Omega are limiting their production capacity for the UK-RTC/AbC-19 test due to the fact that they are going to be manufacturing their other higher margin tests at scale.

We have Rapid Antibody & Antigen testing covered. Omega is an agile business and will manufacture whatever is needed. Here’s to a solid week.

Usually a 7am RNS gives an hour for orders to come in and MMs to shift the price accordingly. However a 4:46pm RNS (16 minutes after the bell) means that we have 15 hours as opposed to 1 of loading up, a whole evening of mainstream news and a lot of time for it to go global, the yanks are awake (they're usually all asleep at 7am UK time) and we're not competing with any other 7am RNS'. I was thinking £1.20 tomorrow morning but wouldn't be surprised to see to see this open up at £1.50.

Also, for those spouting the 175k tests, please understand that the number of tests manufactured within this RNS is irrelevant, all that matters is that an INITIAL government contract is agreed. We still have further government orders, MHRA approval, Heathrow, private and international sales to come.
