PS if I had to lay blame for these falls I’d say German bond yields affecting the DAX through stagflation fears, and Evergrande.
Is it too much to ask for Putin and Xi to hold a news conference saying they’ve turned a corner and are now fetishists for independent states and world peace?
I tend to disagree. More a case of no money, not no news. Everyone’s been battered by the market of the last couple of years. Meanwhile the trajectory of VDTK is clear, with its potential upside and its risks. When the market turns and there’s more investable cash being released, there could be a lot incoming here.
Roger I do tend to agree. I’ve been watching the drop in case I got tempted and have just shelled out 7k prior to close today. I was hating this share some months ago after all the fiascos, but I’m mighty impressed by their product currently and feel a snifter that things are in motion. I may well rue this day.
Twink, the company themselves have highlighted that there’s a near-term risk of requiring additional funding. That’s not a rumour. If you can prove that they’re rolling in a profit to avoid that, that would be most welcome.
Crikey. It’s hard to believe sometimes that the FTSE 250 chart is an index and not an individual stock. If at the end of 2016 you’d made a New Year’s resolution to wisely invest all your cash in the FTSE 250, you’d now have made a return of, six and a half years later…. 0%. Minus inflation.
Come to think of it, perhaps there could be benefits to being in Sicily. If the mafia were basically running the factory, and we know that they control the construction industry, they could enforce a strict regime of Verditek panels on every new property.
I have two gnawing concerns.
1) Even 500k could be devastating if investors fear dilution and the share price falls in advance. If the price naturally settles back down to 0.5, then people get a snifter of a raise, it could tumble further at which point 500k could devastate holders. It might never happen, but….
2) Sicily. Ugh. After the mysterious photovoltaic heist, which was fishy as anything, a new factory in Sicily just fills me with dread. Backhanders anyone? Siphoned profits? Luckily we have a Lord as a chairman. Oh wait…
Hi Roger. What makes you so confident they’d only need 500k?
And yet their most recent item on the News page of the Verditek website is from October 2020. Alas.
Muggins, if we were talking about an employee who’s only gone about their own business in the wider world, I MIGHT agree, no moral obligation. But an employee who’s viewing a shareholders’ forum and borne witness to their being shafted DOES have a moral obligation. If that employee has taken a decision on here to anonymously post claims of flat-out lies in an RNS, they’ve already been helpful and taken a step towards helping to hold fraudsters to account. My point is that an anonymous post on a forum without evidence will ultimately help not a jot. But the same message to the FCA and AIM Regulation would be a massive help to shareholders.
Whitecells, if you know for a fact that claims in RNS’s were lies, I hope you’re reporting these urgently to both the FCA and to AIM Regulation?
Interesting mention here, as well as comments about a looming nickel supply shortage:
