“Surprised no one wanted to answer Bonkywonks Q”
Let me break it down for you.
There’s an assertion that there are fixed price costs as part of the supplier agreement for the mine build, and that these run out after 30 days.
It is further assumed that not triggering the contracts within 30 days means that they would need to be repriced.
A further assumption is any date on which this might be the case, and that the potential repricing could be harmful to the whole project.
In doing so, you have to believe that there is no easy solution, that the parts that cannot be repriced are going to take time / cost money, to the point that those involved would allow it to materially impact the project to their own detriment.
You would also have to believe that the management are idiots, could not see this coming and have no provisions for any challenges that get thrown up. Time and again this has been proven not to be the case, so this is really a wrong headed position.
Finally, there is the poster themself. Who doesn’t debate honestly, picks up on small details like this non-issue and tries to amplify them into an issue, and mostly tries to push back against people who are overly eager for this to do well - to what end? Bitterness, and the fact that they get engagement for their petty, braindead and pointless arguments for their own amusement.
Then there’s the amount of posts when people do engage, and the atrocious spelling and grammar, which does little to dissuade the reader from believing the writer is a moron.
So, while I can’t speak for others, personally I ignore their posts, and try not to waste any time arguing with the idiot, lest they bring me down to their level and beat me with experience 😂
