There are two disputes.

Firstly, around the terms of the peace deal in Tigray, where the military was only partly disarmed after the war, where ongoing politics are causing frustration between opposing parties, as has been the case for decades.

And secondly with Eritrea, over border disputes and access to port of Assab for Ethiopia’s trade and development ambitions.

The only war is a war of words.

Some of these media outlets like sensationalising every blow in the negotiations, or skirmish where the Ethiopian government assert their dominance.

Meanwhile, life goes on within Ethiopia, with mine sites across the country operating normally.

You have to be a special kind of lowlife to find links to these media outlets and without context, posting them to try and generate fear in this forum.

By all means go and do some research into it, and find real facts relating to it.

What I’ve observed (after the fact, not speculated) is that the company are no mugs, and are working with very good people and partners. I can’t see them working with someone who isn’t credible (never say never).

Anyway - let’s wait and see what’s announced…

A contract for rights that a lawyer can be paid to do.

That they’ve run / owned multiple companies only strengthens the chances of them being very capable of making a deal.

We’ve heard nothing from the company on this though, so heresay until proven otherwise….
