Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
Frustrating, but a typical tactic. Drop fast, then allow gradual buying over the day. It's have been buying at 30p this morning, given what's happening in the news, and the opportunity with DAM, so this price is astonishingly good.
Speaks badly, even. I obviously type badly!
If you are selling now because Colin spwaks badly, then know this: it's been NT to buy all morning. That means buying pressure. This price is a gift - just wait for the news onslaught this weekend.
I've been mulling things over too, and have come to a conclusion. I'm accustomed to Colin's style of presenting the business, and don't get put off by the dour tone and his natural hesitancy to make any bold claims. I think much of yesterday was down to him being called out for daring to suggest timelines for things out of his control. And he's a poor public speaker. Notice how everyone perked up when Chris spoke? Same message, better presenting style - so you just have to get past Colin's demeanor and study the content.
My view is to take Finncap's guidance on the value of the core business, which ODX know well, and is profitable with decent growth of its own. 40-50M MCAP on that alone, no chance of placing, which makes us currently oversold. 40p currently on this business alone is fair.
No matter Colin's caution on the covid outlook, I have considerable faith in both Lansdown and DAM. Having researched them, they are very big hitters, and are just what this business needs. Colin admitted the go to market strategy for Covid is unique in the diagnostics world - no wonder they've had no sales until this partnership. DAM are second in line to Boots for market share in test sales, write them off at your own peril. We already have an order, I expect these regularly at this level until CDTA approval which will really get the ball rolling. Those approvals are already emerging.
News like the new strain that has impacted the Asian markets already this morning will put extra focus on expediting things like this, and I firmly believe we'll see rapid turnaround in authorisation for visitect.
So, all things considered, I will be adding under 40p that's for sure. Oversold technically, sentiment shot for now, LTHs definitely feeling hard done by - remove all that emotion though and there's considerable short term value to be had here.
GLA.
If ABDX results exceed expectations, which hte market movement suggests is likely, the impact here will be positive. ODX is being priced to fail currently, as a result of so many derampers making us feel like the sky is falling, so any macro factors to the contrary will help lift us.
I put in a telephone order to buy £75k this morning, at ~47p. Hasn't completed.
As per usual, people are focusing on the UK only. Get some perspective - the world is way behind the UK in providing care.
The opportunity is palpable; indicators of rapid progress coming from mainstream media, government responses (press comment, and civil servant responses to parliamentary questions), plus a bullish outlook from the company - all looking positive.
You look at results up to March, and offer banal commentary including such insight such as 'choo choo', and 'rampers'. Boring.
Good luck to everyone who can read an RNS, and all the evidence sitting in plain sight. Confidence brimming here for me.
Happy with that results statement - upbeat, honest, thorough, no surprises. Results and delay priced in. 364M opportunity still there, if not BIGGER than before with imminent access to US and home use! End of July heavily hinted at for the major catalysts. Good cash position, and not even a hint of placing . Value to be had here at these levels, and no mistake.
Such drivel being posted on this forum, it makes me cringe.
So much samey nonsense being repeated again and again; it's either intentional, or many of you really don't take a moment to simply read and understand before blurting out.
We know the results, that part of the update is historical. What you should be interested in, is the ongoing opportunity, which we will hear about during the presentation.
For those panic selling off the back of the FUD being peddled ad nauseum by likely one or two posters, using multiple logins - you've got a few easy choices. You could wait for the presentation, or you just look at the news, see the potential, and make a proper decision to hold or sell.
And from what is sitting in plain sight, I'm looking forward to tomorrow. :)
I hate to muddy the incessant point scoring on this board with some positivity, but I decided to increase my position today.
I believe the results up to March are unlikely to blow you away, but this is well reflected in the SP already, however I honestly feel that everyone on this board is putting far too much faith in the actions of the British government. Are you all entirely forgetting the rest of the world? Look a little broader, and you'll see the opportunity here.
I do hope the presentation next week makes that clear for everyone.
Anyway, don't let childish scare tactics, and negativity, put you off such a solid investment case. Good luck.
Well, for me, this was the opportunity I have been waiting for! AZ vaccine approved opens the gates to orders - and they won't hang around. So, I took a bunch more just now, and fully expect this to bag within a few weeks, and carry on until middle of next year and beyond.
Bullish outlook, production on track - looks very good to me. Absolutely no concerns here, guys.
A simple fact here is that you have a revenue generating company, diversified within numerous verticals, with enormous potential to capitalise on years of global testing requirements.
Is a paltry 80m mcap justified? Not at all. It's super cheap, an acquisition would take this potential into account and value it at multiples of this amount. So don't let anyone scare you into thinking you've overpaid, and that is going back to the price it was last year.
It's a very different company now, with different prospects. Just let it do it's thing, and it'll bounce back in short order.
You couldn't buy much on the drop, I tried. Not any amount to make it worth it. Its the typical pattern, just done to trigger some churn in the morning. The only way to make money on aim is buy when you can and just hold for the major re-rate.
is this something that happens a lot, Greg?
Can you imagine selling this stock, and buying into some high-risk wildcat drill oil nonsense, that is likely to drop 50% whenever the wind changes. I've seen a bunch of people on twitter doing just that, and it makes this womble sad. Just take a glance at the news, and you'll see the demand for this stock's product. Under promise and over deliver - this stock'll drop a game-changer RNS before you know it, and the SP will continue upwards for years to come yet.
Hey man. You can't call me rat. That's 'our' word. Not cool.
Yeah. The gout cleared up, mainly because I chewed the rear haunch off. Mustn't grumble.
Dunno what you're whinging about. Womble's age 7 times faster than humans, and I've only got half a front paw and a bloody stump to try and write posts with. My eyes are calcified, my fur is patchy, my anus is so distended it drags on the floor. I only have one tooth. I lost my right ear in farmer's trap. But one soldiers on.
