I saw the IC headline and read it in disbelief. What about the '100p' rise since last year, what about the potential, what about the green economy, what about the JV with a world class partner, what about the new factory, what about the pipeline, what about the transformation from boffin to business. What would have been impressive if they had predicted the rise just like LTH's did. GLAH.

I cant recall 0.017p but can recall low single digits and remember the proposed tie up with british gas on boilers. Not sure what my average is but probably circa 8 / 9 p in old money. How things have hanged recently and we are now transformed with the rise since Q4 last year truly remarkable and not predictable. GLAH

Further down the thread BB. stokey had quoted h2 cost and then petrol cost of 42 was quoted which seemed light.

The point being significantly more than £42 when all of the estimates are considered.

London to Edinbrgh 400 mile say 17p per mile for me gives around £65.

Had a scan read and in line with what I expected. Lets not forget the massive progress with Linde.

Fuel cell EVs are expected to be the cheapest commercial vehicles to run within a decade

According to a Deloitte-Ballard Joint White Paper, the transportation of the future is hydrogen.
At the CES 2020 trade show, Ballard Power Systems and Deloitte China announced the release of a joint White Paper that projects fuel cell EVs to be less expensive to run compared to battery electric and internal combustion engine vehicles within 10 years.

The white paper is the first volume in a series.
The white paper, which is called “Fueling the Future of Mobility: Hydrogen and fuel cell solutions for transportation,” is the first to be launched in a series of white papers that will explore how hydrogen is primed to power the future of mobility with cheaper fuel cell EVs.

Ballard President and CEO, Randy MacEwen, stated in a recent Ballard press release that in less than a decade, it will be less expensive to run a fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) than it is to operate a battery electric vehicle (BEV) or an internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicle when it comes to certain commercial applications.
