The company will utilise this investment into growing overseas markets following on from its 250MWh battery install in the north of England. Hopefully this sets a good stage for BMN to follow suit and show the competitive performance of the VRFB against these rival options.

Truthsearcher, yes both SXX and TRX need capital injection to keep the show on the road. But the size of the capital injection is what differs and the capability/risk of the company to repay in a timely fashion. TRX are much closer to a positive sales revenue stream, SXX are still years away. TRX on this metrics is clearly much more likely to secure a successful fund raise vs SXX. Take your pick but for me TRX is the better option!

Yes Cowboyinvestor SSE sold the retail arm to OVO to focus on generation. On this basis you might be inclined to think SSE might pivot into better managing their power generation handling given this is their corporate strategy. No better way that VRFB deployment.

Thought I'd get the above stated before I get lambasted as a troll, which is my typical welcome by some. For those that can move beyond this, SSE is going massively into renewable power production with a commitment to triple their currently installed generating capacity over the next 10 years to reach 30TWh/annum.
Elephant in the room is how do they square the circle of storage with this? I think we all know the answer although I'm not sure SSE do. Welcome ideas on how do we create the awareness of the VRFB opportunity to this £16bn market cap player?

Agreed 4kandles power storage going to be the challenge for the renewable sector. My money is on vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFB) to provide the scaling capability here to meet this demand. BMN (AIM listed Bushveld Minerals) worth a look for those interested in this, my other significant holding alongside SSE.

If BMN can sell off Lemur, surely it would attract new influx of fund managers to take holding positions in BMN? And thus drive the SP upwards. Some of these green investment funds have rules blocking any ability to holding positions in companies which possess fossil carbon exploiting assets.

Well just set up a limit order at 19.5p this morning. So if this gets breached today my BMN holding gets topped up. Some financial advisors might say I'm nuts, as my ISA portfolio will be >60% in BMN! Hopefully with V pricing on the march north and all the positive developments my insanity pays off.

Not that TRX is illiquid obviously since it's AIM traded, but a reflection of Link perhaps not getting the price on the sales they want or been instructed to get given were in low 1p territory.

Question I have, given lack of RNS confirming Link having sold all the Woodford holdings in TRX and payments from Woodford funds now happening. Whether the remaining TRX holding not yet sold is being considered as illiquid and perhaps shifted over to Park Hill from Link to broker the remaining sale of TRX holding?

Some of us long term holders might appreciate the divi cut to reduce the debt pile, certainly me at least. I'm well under water with my SAGA holding.

I suspect the red numbers of BMN are a reflection of the wider hit miners are taking today, driven in part by the virus outbreak in China. If anything BMN coming off relatively lightly here, the FTSE 100 miners all getting mullered today.

RMR1969, if the CEO is a waste of space as you suggest then our hope has to be with our activist investor Elliott. Here's hoping they force the situation, don't want to call it a SAGA break up but put the heat under the CEO and BOD to sell off the parts of the business that realise better potential for SAGA. It needs someone to come in and breathe new life into the company.
