For me BE taking a big slice of the UK government funding pie in building and deploying a scaled VRFB managed power distribution network. Its being done with blue and green hydrogen already, but VRFB tech should beat the cost and efficiency of these existing examples (e.g. Levenmouth Energy project, bright green hydrogen Ltd, HyNet). They'll be vast amounts of public funding into this space in the coming years, Mikhail needs to be at the front of the queue here otherwise (elbows out) other solution providers will displace where VRFB should and could be positioned.

Apple, unfortunately the SP of BMN is still largely driven by commodity V pricing. This is where I see a shift in gear from BMN (and its BE partner) to come, notably in marketing and PR of the VRFB offering into the power storage market. There's an example of this already in ITM power (green hydrogen power storage) look at what's happened to their share price this last 12 months. VRFB and BMN should smash green hydrogen and ITM power out the park. Plenty of stats available telling us VRFB is superior over green hydrogen for power storage.

BE part of BMN need to be all over this and hoovering up as much UK government on power storage! Mikhail, your time has come please step forward and grasp the mettle! VRFB needs to be the word on the street across Britain. If we did a straw poll though of UK public I bet hydrogen will score higher though on the awareness front that Vanadium unfortunately - we need a big PR push in the UK.

Agreed Daisy Dog, BE should be at the fore of investments in renewable power storage. For me the interesting comparison is AIM listed ITM power, another renewable power storage company. The Mcap is several multiples higher than BMN. For me the big part of this is awareness of green hydrogen versus VRFBs, particularly in the UK market. BMN should be kicking ITM power with all the additionality it has not when solely comparing hydrogen electrolysers vs VRFBs, but on the existing profitable operations it has with V supply for steel production. Conflict of interest declaration I hold a sizeable BM holding averaging mid-20ps and I hold no ITM shares.

Thanks Uksteveg, some of these posters are obviously trying to deliberately manipulate the share price by positive postings. LSE are too slow to deal with them also.
We need balance informed debated rationalising both positive and negative influences objectively - no blanket dismissal of debate based on negative or positive perception it might have on share price.

Hi Pdub, thanks for the response. It sounds like a bit of slog to transcribe into writing so please don't go to any special effort on my or others account. A simple link to an audio file will suffice, I just wondered whether BMN keep a copy? Maybe on their investors page on the BMN website or similar?

Agreed Pdub, great leadership and BMN doing a sterling job given all the challenges facing businesses every where. Any idea if there'll be transcript of the FM update happening today? Well I topped up my TRX holding with another 285612 shares bagged yesterday afternoon @1532h. No idea why its not showing up in the trade log here though?

OK thanks Chilll, we should be slightly concerned therefore of the UK furloughed staff. Hopefully it doesn't serve to hinder the sales and admin side of the business unduly given the constraints it will have on what the UK staff can deliver. At least the US staff are still rolling

Forgot to add, this is a great RNS today. Given how the expenditure of this loan is conditioned, I see it more as a grant than a loan - so even better than it first appears. Agreed with other posters, a few more of these combined with our increase in revenue means we might be in a position to avoid a fund raise. Or if its needed, the T&Cs will be much more favourable and a lesser amount will be required to drive TRX forward.

Chilll, I hope TRX do not go down the furlough path. This would be bad news for TRX in my opinion. It may of the face of it seem like a good measure for the business to take government financial support. The problem is for furloughed staff is they are not allowed to do any work for the employer, not even lift a pen. This would hinder the progress and growth of TRX. I'm in support of TRX seeking government backed loans, grants and other financial assistance, just not the furlough scheme.

Just a thought. BMN plus many other stocks are up this morning. Can this be (at least in part) be attributed to the kick off of the ISA 2020/21 season? Has there been a historical correlation here I wonder in previous years?

Putting aside the immediate fund raise requirements, TRX over the past 5 years has shown excellent progress with year on year increase in revenue growth and has taken steps to curtail its operating costs. Its now at crucial pivot from R&D into pushing greater product sales into a massive market. It’s selling all the products it can manufacture at moment which is brilliant. I expect those that are prepared to tolerate the inherent risk associated with the short term funding situation and hold into the medium/long term (>2 years) will be rewarded significantly. The current mcap and sp is an absolute steal just now – all my opinion of course so do your own research.

It was regularly discussed and speculated on this bulletboard a few months back but have any of the readers of this bulletin board here got any thoughts on status of where we are on Woodford/Link selling out their remaining TRX shares? Some what speculative, but I think the consistent selling is likely from them. Although I suppose some selling pressure is coming from twitchy private investors cashing out of the stock market generally due to covid19.

Is it true that these government loans are at 30% APR? I didn't look into the Ts and Cs, but I would be very surprised if any business in their right mind would take this government support if that were the case. If that's indeed the position then the government treasury need to cap the % otherwise this offer of help is a chocolate teapot and will not serve to help businesses in the way its being designed above and beyond any support TRX might consider utilising here.

Talking of financial options for TRX to extend their cash runway into their growth phase. I wonder if this avenue is being explored by the management team? Seems this source of cash is being made easier to draw on:

going into administration would suggest the financers have no confidence in the current BoD. I can't see any other immediate leadership candidates being any more effective than the current directors. The technology requirements here leads me to suggest the current individuals leading the business are required to make TRX succeed.
I can't see administration coming here, if TRX does run out of cash and is unable to borrow money (which I think is less likely) a placing on the shares is the more probable outcome in this scenario in my opinion.

Fair enough Truthsearcher won't be long until we find out either way. The way I rationalise it, is the global economy has been injected with a vast amount of cash in recent weeks by governments all round the globe. This cash sloshing about will be looking for a home in viable businesses with a future which makes those seeking funding such as TRX more likely to be enabled to secure funds. Combined with a recent savvy finance director appointment to TRX increases the probability of pushing a successful fund raise over the line to lengthen the cash runway into TRX's growth period. Its a balance of risk so naturally do your own research.
