was pretty interesting as we closed the gap opened down during the last profit warning. What I like is that we have crossed and closed above the 50 DMA at around £3.52. All looking pretty good. I personally hope that we head towards 400 and next aim at the 100 DMA at around £4.47 which in reality is pretty close to the £5.30 - £4.70 gap opened during the March 2016 profit warning.

Clearly at such depressed share price levels it's natural that there is third party interest and the more the better. What no one knows if a firm bid will come and if there will be counter bids. It almost makes me think that the strategic review might have a dual purpose ie allow restructuring were needed on the back of independent advice and package this for a sale at a higher price. Either way this is IMO a turning point for the Group and will allow shares to pick up from these depressed levels.

This is likely to be a stock which has bottomed out and is just starting a price recovery from very depressed levels. No one knows but IMO plenty more upside if you can wait a bit and accept some volatility.

Apologies should proof read before sending at least it was nothing rude! Going back to RTN, IMO the way is up. There will be the usual volatility in such process and no one knows how long it will take, but I'm personally pretty relaxed about this stock as the balance sheet is very strong and making ongoing profits. £6-7 is not happening any time soon but IMO £4 will.

Fully agree, also think that this will head towards £4 pretty quickly as it has corrected far too much from the top and bad news is out plus related possible divi cut is discontent already by most.

Fully agree. As mentioned the review will IMO give the ammunition to take drastic action were needed and as an outsider I think that the CFO change to 'rejuvenate' the board might be part of the same big picture and will in any case bring a new pair of eyes to the board which is always a plus.

in this sector, but as mentioned before the July outcome of the strategic review will identify the businesses which can be exited and the ones to focus on and any other trends to exploit, home deliveries. The divi will be cut but this is still generating lots of cash.

7p this last week, IMO the trend is now up will all bad news out and people digesting negative forecast for the rest of the year and divi cut. We had a first attempt at £3 and think that we will cross that soon and slowly move up in anticipation of the July review outcome.

Thanks for the feedback. Incidentally I also look at the Paul Scott blog and that's why I got alerted to this stock. I also noticed that Shares magazine tipped it as a buy for various reasons (takeover bid ? or takeout by a PE ?) even if it is likely that the divi will be lowered to 15p we are still talking a 5% yield. I have actually purchased 18,000 shares today around £ 2.95 as I think that the stock is now really too cheap even if there might be some short term volatility. We know that the strategic review outcome due in July will drive the stock up and the market usually anticipates matters. IMO we can easily be back at £4 by the end of the summer, but let's now sit back and relax.

But have been looking at this during the last couple of weeks as I'm trying to work out if this is a buy now or not, as there are risks that the divi will get cut etc. I listened to the CEO conference call and that did not really clarify matters, would appreciate views from long term holders.

As I posted a lot here in the past, I want to be transparent and mention that I have been tempted by switching the money I had in here into CYAN a couple of days ago at 27p and realising a 20% profit on FXI. I wish all remaining here good luck, but feel that CYAN has better short term potential (time will tell if I was correct).

Yes agree with your comments. In the meantime let's see if the ISA period starting tomorrow changes matters. Still think that this is undervalued and could go to at least £2.50.

interest in this stock is finally picking up and I'm not at all surprised. IMO this is just the beginning.

and IMO we are ready for another slow leg upwards from incredibly low levels. Let's sit back and relax again.
