I too have been here a few years and remember buying at 7p minutes before the news broke the well was dry (again). I believe TRP back then were referred to as the unluckiest company around. Not sure what has changed, but I am impressed they are still going. My average is way above current prices and I await a rise like only AIM can.. one day.
With talk of recession and increased costs everywhere you look, BME normally shines.
Not sure what happened to my original post, but I commented that some articles are stating how city traffic is very low at present and restaurant cancellations are rampant. The flip side is that takeaways are booming now. Its not a big stretch to see that trend continue for a little while now and JET to have a good winter. Not sure whether that is really a silver lining when the situation is so dire.
Botbot, I'm not sure comparing Weekly UK hospitalisations to Annual Global lightening strikes is making me feel any better. :)
We're not where we all hoped we'd be now in mind of vaccinations, and no idea if mutations of the virus will ever stop. We still know so little. Fingers crossed it all keeps reducing and we all see an even brighter light soon. RR has the biggest opportunity to go big if the future goes the way we all hope.
The market has been down as a whole today, and whilst tomorrow it may bounce somewhat, I am concerned for RR that all the talk or benefits of 'Freedom day', do not really elaborate or create any new excitement about travel. There's nothing happening in the world that makes me want to travel just yet.
I am unsure where the next good news for RR is due at the moment. I was pleased with my 104 avg until now.
.. and not a bad divi to come in 4 weeks too.
I agree, probably oversold a little today now.
The price decline for the market as a whole is due to anticipation of 3rd waive and more EU lockdowns. If/when it actually happens, I think we will certainly drift under 100p, hopefully not by much. I did top up at 110p, but like most here see the long term potential so will look for more shares if that level is breached.
I honestly think this RR, you only need to hold tight. They will come out the other side as long as vaccinations remain potent over new variations.
Any ideas?
Good news, its pre-consolidation. :)
Share buy back is well under way. :)
