Absolutely agree FigTreeHarry! I think this week the market will start to see sense after last weeks drama now out of the way and look much more favourably at their fundamentals & actually that it offers a real recovery now.

Yes there’s two issues being conflated here -

you've three years from when you knew you could make a complaint OR six years from the event you're complaining about taking place. But if you make a complaint you’ve 6 months to complain to FOS after receiving final response. However you’d have to demonstrate why if it takes you 6 years why you didn’t complain sooner. If it is a genuine complaint then surely customer would have contacted company so imho a tiny proportion would be able to do so at 6 years. Then the same process applies, contact company, wait 8 weeks to investigate and receive final response then if not happy they would still only have 6 months to complain and apply to FOS. Also FOS is not a straight forward given they would rule in customers favour every time.

Mark1973 - actually rules are if customer makes a complaint then once the company replies within the 8 week period FCA guidelines with their final response, if then the customer is not happy with their response i.e. they disagree then customer only has 6 MONTHS to take their complaint to the FOS not 6 years! What percentage would go on to then go through the process again with FOS supplying all the info, fill out the forms etc etc and then go through that palaver- not many I think you’ll find percentages rapidly fall away. I think the complaints thing is being way over egged here!

I have the feeling the SP will be on the turn this week and no more pull back using this as a bigger excuse than it should be.

Lads whilst you aim for an extra portion of fries today as a Thursday treat...it’s a pointless task to attack. Learn the majority of investors here are seasoned pi’s and ii’s and your nonsense isn’t going to ‘work’ on them.

Also lest we forget we could start relending this month not impossible and importantly as the RNS says ‘BY the end of the years’ not AT the end of the year. We’ve started Q4 and do you honestly think we will dip further or stay around these levels? Carry on and sell if you do but I’m loading on up as we will never again see these prices - boardroom drama is out of the way, net debt down, adequate liquidity, clear road ahead with no further obstacles - we are BACK IN BUSINESS! What’s not to like?
