New... yes it’s a joke now , Dow is well up and FTSE flat , oil up etc. And how’s this for ridiculous RR went from 8 % down to 2% up today with record loss - can’t understand why people would buy RR at moment

Anybody got level 2 please? According to this site buys are way above sells everyday now by 3 times volume .

Dow closed up last night and Brent up again . Plenty of buys yesterday here

I disagree with that, BP absolutely rallied on results day because it was better than expected. Dividend is still being paid at 5.25 c per share and that’s better than 90% of other companies- most have cut dividend completely. This is still an income share with great growth potential. The roads are as busy as I’ve ever seen them this summer with tourists and other vehicles- all burning fuel. Less than 1% probably of those vehicles are electric! But guess what BP are diversifying into renewable energy and are looking to the future- absolutely class company at a discounted rate at moment. DYOR. GL

Dow closed on Friday 190 points up , Dow futures now 216 points up , Brent is up and Brent futures up. Buying is strong here this morning with BP. Plasma treatment for Covid, really helping markets now too and is all great news . Happy Monday everyone.

Cheers Oilbit . Interesting point of view and way to look at it. See JP Morgan have just lowered BP target to 260 so a negative towards BP there. Going to see how low this goes today with Dow futures down and see how bad that gets , always next week to buy as could dip back a bit further. GL

Mystic- Dow futures are down 200 hence the drop here. Could tests yesterday’s lows depends how bad this afternoon goes in the US.

Could of got just over 28 p buy this morning but left it!!- Big sell off in process and signs there with the Dow . 25 p does seem real possibility in a few days. I know I need to buy at some point but not comfortable at the moment. GL all

Dow tanked , so this could be start of the sell off which experts keep talking about- markets are massively overpriced they recon, time will tell . Might just be back to 22000 and then up to 24000 again. Difficult to know what entry price to try and wait for on this one .

How is this rising so much today , surely results on Thursday will be as bad as HSBC’s and this will drop right back? This can only be following FTSE today - there’s no good news for banks here yet... opinions please?

Riddle me this please, anybody more clued up than me at all this. FTSE futures are up but US are down - how is that going to play out? I can unfortunately see £2 a share here tomorrow but would it be too soon too buy in that’s the question. Still would have further to fall from there . Any thoughts?

Oil prices negative- first time in history. Dow finished nearly 500 down . I see potential for sub 28 p here tomorrow. New lows tested probably across the board!!! Scary stuff. Any thoughts?
