Neal- chartist term I think ( 3 peaks , middle higher than other two ) although I don’t think this is relavant as it went ex divi today so drop was mainly that. Should recover again from here , tested 287 only yesterday so plenty of confidence.

At what point are people thinking top up? Today or wait a day or two and see support etc? Cheers

Strong bounce from here I would think , don’t forget oil was up over 2 % overnight I think. Only dropped slightly as per divi payout . Onwards and upwards again now I believe. Be patient and you’ll be rewarded . GL all

I can see ex divi , small drop as per dividend amount paid out but quickly rising again and momentum continuing . Personally I won’t be trading around divi as you could be caught out and lose more gains, happy to take divi in isa

Well tomorrow wasn’t great but hope everyone loaded up or averaged down. Oil is up again, futures are up. I feel it’s onwards and upwards from here, dividend payment not far away and probably one of the highest out there at present. Very good long term investment here I feel. GL all

If results aren’t great could easily be a 4 % drop but it’s anyone’s guess- I personally think they will miss targets -I’m awaiting tomorrow as I’d rather be sure before buying. Plus as geng saying next support is so close and it could go through that. You could always top up or average down if need be tomorrow as long term surely will be ok but definitely not smooth sailing for a while

But BP down, what are your thoughts? De risking before results? Why has silver gone up so much and not gold?

Read that this morning but at least it will pay off some of BP’s debt. I think they are offloading some oil fields to go greener as it will cost them but agree not a great sign- shows they see it is a liability

620 was predicted before Covid came along , so be a lot longer wait if at all for 620 now. Anybody any near term targets? will I get a 260 or 265 buy in? It’s looking to the downside at the moment. I feel targets will be missed in results here.

Going lower I’m afraid . Targets will be missed in results. I’d rather buy after results now
