ADJ havent done much lately as cut back my investments due to work etc will eventually get analysing more accounts hopefully as it is very interesting stuff! There are many different ratios/metrics you can use for comparing companies so not always easy (I know Jolly is a big fan of Tangible net worth (TNW) which is a very good way of comparing comapnies). i would highly encourage doing an excel spreadsheet with the ratios as a formula so you can easily calculate the metrics for yourself. and i must add I have significantly improved my tips/calls after studying financials!. will post more when time permits!

GedW good post above mate on a serious note, what can investors do to stop the rot in terms of corporate action? at the very least, can they force some sort of meeting with the BOD direct regarding the failing share price, the decrease in nominal value etc?

Seems a very blunt statement to make to stop people asking awkward questions......including bod shareholding etc?

hi mate regarding corporate priorities if the main men fail to show up for the meeting on Friday that has to be a massive negative surely! this is a meeting to discuss the consolidation and listen to shareholders in person and if they aren't there then what does that tell you?

A) There are no plans at this time to consolidate the ordinary shares. Shareholders have made clear that they are against a consolidation in the past. surely the final straw...a company saying one thing and then doing another!!!???

Cool....i guess bad news for MTV is it doesn't have stable cash flows incoming. Baffling to see a company as such listed and continuing to dilute shareholders with no repercussions.
