Simms. Cnr have 600 k reserves not 2 m . Calibre have increased from 200k to 1.1 m oz in the time they have been there as well as what has been mined during that time. I imagine in the 2 years they would spend constructing la India they will likely add a whole heap more without the need to finance and build a mine. He states timescale for permits etc. also adding concessions. Holding calibre I would be happy to see it happen but am still sceptical and don’t see anything in this vid to change my mind on that one. Only a few weeks to see I guess. Meanwhile the market is working for goldies In general.
Yela, it is hard to sell or buy when it goes nuts and spread has been large . However if you bought in the twos or threes and managed to get anywhere near 5 p you did ok. But daytrading??. It would’ve been difficult. Limit buys and sells best imv.
I didn’t sell, been gradually accumulating not that I wouldn’t trade at some point .
Better off trading in crypto tbh. Bigger rises and falls and more often. Currently buying clsk back.
Agree I g. Sensible strategy. 8-10 p for me.
Rob thought you might like to read this re U.S. interest rates.

Hi e l, it mentions including any shares to be issued, ie fully diluted. That’s what you would expect in a takeover. Also a dividend payment. Any deals I have seen state overall deal figure on a fully diluted basis and the corresponding sp. I don’t see any difference here. So personally have missed a div payment and around 2 p p s from selling on news. Glad holders have a little more for sticking.
Polo, if pog retreated 20% miners would drop a lot lower. Have seen a number of 29-30 % roses in producers over the last few years followed by the same retreat . However J reckon we are on a real breakout for this year. Shg was one of my main producers but sold as soon as the deal was anounced and moved the cash to clsk and microstrategy. Sitting fast was not a good idea and yes was a cheap deal for what they had. Peeved they recommended the deal but switching has been kind. Look at what Shg had and compare to Cnr then tell me how Cnr is fetching the same or more?

Hi Rob. No didn’t sell and re buy. Have been adding though. My average has been going up rather than down. Just raised yo 4 p . Don’t want to be much above that.
I started re buying gold and silver producers on march 1st. Bought a bit of nm but star turn is equinox up 40% this month. Cey is my only longterm hold and glad to be in profit there for first time in a while. Pan American silver my silver play. Uranium back on a tear and copper so along with crypto everything going nicely. My trades have been in crypto lately, in accumulation mode here for now but everything subject to change. Certainly does look like gold is on the move now. Always best to adapt to conditions.
This is worth the risk reward at around 4 p for me. Just remains to be seen how management shapes up. I have a cautious but open mind on that one but movement of the sp will dictate my strategy.
Good luck .
Where you off to on your another holiday?
Slippery, obviously the ammount of spare cash someone has to invest is a factor. Have never claimed to be rich in fact have stated my investing is to improve my wealth. Is it better to have 40 k shares at 35% profit or 1 m shares at -40% deficit?
The trend is your friend is a well known phrase and worth remembering. Didn’t take a genius to work out that gold producers follow directly the pog or that Bitcoin and it’s proxies were and are in for a Hooley or that covid stocks were the place to be up until the vaccine or that ai tech was rocketing etc.
Don’t think buffet would stick his cash in Cnr, not on the register. Switched a bit into Omi recently. Could be a mistake 😜.
Hi polo, bought back into producers about a month ago. Star performer so far sis Ross besties equinox up 40% on the month. Have a few dividend payers but imv growth mid tiers like equinox and calibre will likely appreciate the most and be takeover targets.
I am interested to se if it remains an asset sale and if an nsr will be retained in the shell? Obvs royalties are also saleable. Mark didn’t rule out an nsr .
Best to block out pump and dump posts and be realistic. Currently sp is up near 100% over last month or so which is pretty good. Giving share price predictions is just a lottery. We are looking better than a month ago. Let’s see where the next month or two get us. I am adding currently. My average had now just about raised to 4 p which is my magic number so not averse to a further re trace personally .
Mm Nero. Mellons interest rate was what 18% on his last loan so $100 m becomes around $120 m to get £200 m so you value Cnr at around £100 m presently. Sounds about right. Mines often get sold mid construction as shown by calibres latest aquisition or Burittica etc. not going to be un Production in a year tho. Commercial production would be 2 years . So much time has been spent treading water adding more shares that it has to be sold imv and thankfully the pog is turning at the right time to help.
So looks firm here and good for a bit more.
Good luck all
Hi chick. I sold most of my producers last quarter last year, only hanging on to Cey and Shg. Bought back in about a month ago into quite a few on your list but my star performer us equinox up almost 40% over the month. We have seen a number of 20-30% moves up and down with producers over last few years following pog. Does look like a proper breakout this time. Producers still way down on 2020/21 highs yet so should be some way to go yet.
Gold producers like Bitcoin miners move in tandem with the gold price directly, explorers are a big harder to predict but for sure the longer the bull run the better for explorers. This will be news led so depends how good they actually turn out to be at producing news. Good bit of momentum and pump atm though. Traders, limit sell /buy is helpful in these hard to buy/ sell situation I find.
Good luck all
Hi Rob. Glad you have had a holiday and daughter gets house. I have a big ceiling to plaster in next couple of days. Hard going when you get older.
Banks independent from gvnt , central banks problem is paying massive debt and issuing bonds. Think rates will reduce just not as quick as perhaps hoped.
Anyhow, Omi, I don’t think I only give negative I just say what I see. Personally I have added, even switched some out of Cnr into here but still modest holding compared to many here but keeping my average below 4 p . Not bringing it down . I have been bottom fishing gradually for ages but added reasonable this week and la bit last week.
The positives are deffo getting control of asset, gold price getting strong and as I say if funding can be found early stage exploration is the best rewarded . I will look to trade spikes which I would expect if a decent drilling campaign is carried out.
I am however a bit cautious as ever on projected timelines and wait to see how successful the cash raises are. Cash raises early doors with results are good for do. Later there will be lots of extra drilling to prove up resource which may not be so productive on sp. So I am looking for as quick an exit as possible, for stake bavk then see what happens.
There are quality producers being sold like Shg for £150 m so I discount talk of £80 m but for sure as before we could well see a few overshooting spikes. It’s only profit when it’s in da bank!
Got room for a bit more here yet but don’t have a lot of disposable so have to trade or swap things around.
G luck rob and everybody. Fingers crossed.
Hi c f. Calibre paper would be fine for me and probably represents best bet for holders medium term. However calibre are turning up great results with the drill ,adding new concessions. I can’t see them wanting to commit to another mine build or gvnt agreeing to no build at la India.
I could be wrong for sure. Let’s hope we don’t have too long to wait to find out.
Appreciate the regular flow of research.
Hope you are getting lucky .
L wolf. Yes agree with comments re other explorers etc. this best deal possible in circs but quite amusing that the ramp cheerleaders of the 2 majors making this worth a packet are now the cheerleaders that getting free of the majors is so excellent.
Anyhow if/when this completes it still remains to be seen how significant exploration will be funded. I have added last week and this to take advantage of any short term rise but bearing in mind the sell the news scenario . I will look to trade some here and get de risked asap. Keeping average below 4 p.
Has to be said that the early phase in exploration is generally the most productive share price wise but rns spikes will be there to take advantage of. Longterm sitting on your hands is folly imv .
Chicken, Omi are not collective and do not have the bod credibility for large cash raises for the ammount of drilling needed to prove 2 m oz plus oz. Still a lot to prove imv but happy to ride any spikes, assess as we go and most importantly get cash out. Not interested in 10 years time, cash is generally made in fairly short timeframes imv
Good luck all.
