Tyndrumboy lol to you too
This board became a pleasant place to get views on Scotgold, for a short while posters exchanged views in a respectful and constructive manner. But it now seems that Graham’s back and the whole tone has quickly gone back to how it used to be.
My alarm bells start ringing when a poster uses the words ‘old chap’ and is able to access rare graham donaldson posts.
What is being said, is that someone put CP2’s real identity in a post just before it was taken down. Surely people know who is the real person behind CP2? The style of posting is pretty distinctive!
Thar’s gold in them thar Highland hills — but how much?

Banfman I think the clue is in the Company name, it’s Scotgold not Corngold. Look far north from Cornwall.
You posters who immediately assume that a new poster is Shylock should rethink your approach, maybe even apologise. I posted a couple of times and haven’t bothered again after a ( less blatant) response. Try welcoming new inputs; and if you really want to question something then think about the ethics of a long standing major shareholder posting under another alias.
Bloodbath? FTSE down 2.3%, Nasdaq up 0.5%, DJIA down a little, SGZ flat, that ain’t no bloodbath that’s a typical volatile day.
Wow Mr Big you know how to live the high life! Is the burger van there this year?
So come on Scotgold, it really is time to tell the world are you still working on the mine? Are you delaying pending the virus or are you still building and digging? What’s your timescale now?
I agree. I live in a small town in Argyll and I’m amazed at the number of people on antidepressants. It’s going to go through the roof as a consequence of the virus Ann it’s control measures
There seem to be 2 main reasons connected with the Coronavirus that could delay production. The first is staff unavailability; either because some may commute or get sick, or because the government may close all non essential businesses. Some staff may catch the virus but I doubt they are in a vulnerable category so the overall impact for contact with infected colleagues shouldn’t be more that a normal winter flu.
Otherwise a delay could be from delivery delays, construction delays or problems, or general stuffups which shouldn’t result in a long delay.
I think the biggest issue just now is the overall depression that’s settling in. People are stuck at home with little else to talk about, it’s the number 1 item in all the media, there’s a general feeling that we’re all doomed. I’m going to wait and see whether it’s on time, slightly delayed, or delayed to next year. Just now I don’t see the combination of problems that would lead to the longer delay.
I should have added that, having met the CEO and other senior people, I am absolutely convinced about their ability to get this project completed, and to develop a profitable company, even if there’s a slight delay
Hi Judy it’s probably over 18 months since I went to the mine so I can’t comment on recent progress. There are a couple of regular posters who have been more recently who may be able to help and also it would be good to get an announcement as to how things are going.
RM I’m not completely clear as to why you’re so excited by my earlier comments. My point was that you clearly stated that the current virus is a result of biological warfare tests. Assuming you to be a conspiracy theorist, I assumed you also believed that the moon landings and twin towers were fake; clearly that’s not the case and I apologise for my incorrect assumption.
My position is that I live in Argyll, have been to 2 mine visits, and I really want the development to get up and running. This is for my own long standing investment but also the income this will bring to the local community. So, I don’t know who Shylock is and have no contact with him /her. It’s a pattern on this board that infrequent or new posters are assumed to be, or have links with, earlier rogue posters.
RM not that it’s anything to do with the business of Scotgold, are you seriously saying that the current pandemic is a failed biological warfare project? And not just the result of very unhygienic market practices that enabled the virus to cross species from a bat or a pangolin or whatever? And of course the Americans never walked on the moon, the CIA brought down the twin towers etc etc. Bit
Having said that I’ve just noticed the link with Scotgold.....unhygienic market practices in both AIM and the Wuhan meat market?
This is crazy, on the back of I think 11500 shares sold today the price is down 8.75 pc? I’ve been with this company for many years and it doesn’t get any easier!
Good grief is it 5 years? No I don’t know Skelper, I haven’t posted because I’ve been sitting on my SHZ shares and have also been put off by some of the conflict......
Interesting...that would be the Flemings who owned Robert Fleming bank, sold to Chase Manhattan, after which they set up some boutique investment services based in Jersey. But I can’t find any trace of the company that bought these options.
Quiet here without Graham and the bigbadbloke!
