Welloil/Dibs, it's certainly true of my GP surgery. They have taken on more patients from two closed surgeries. Non-urgent GP appointments are a four week wait. It certainly won't be one surgery! Bleepa will help, but a reset and fresh start is definitely required, otherwise those beaches in New South Wales will be more than tempting.
It is dependent on GP access, certainly. If on an ' urgent' pathway, like dodgy prostate results, then it can be reasonably quick. But for chronic symptoms it could well be delayed. Regional variations. This is where .gov need to wake up. Where are the staff? Now seeing adverts encouraging medical staff to Australia, not that new but seem more prevalent. Hopefully Bleepa will transform the care pathway, and .gov will wake up.
Plenty of positives. Slight caution re Bleepa in India, looking at 6-9 months to get the medical device approvals through their new company. I do hope the CDC business is at QVH is ours, I can't see an alternative. Good luck to Tom & the team, and to us too.
