165 sites operational, plenty of scope for Bleepa. What progress is being made selling into these CDCs I wonder?

The national Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) Programme is now in its third year and has approved 170 CDC sites across England. As at August 2024, 165 sites are operational in a variety of settings including shopping centres, university campuses and football stadiums. Of these, 135 are operating from their permanent CDC building and the rest from temporary capacity while the CDC build is completed.

Using the existing footprint of primary care providers this DHR could be deployed nationally in days, with allied provider settings onboarded in a matter of months. The ensuing service redesign and the ability to leverage private provider capacity could facilitate the clearance of the entire NHS waitlist within five years.

I'm sure many bought at the placing £1.40 (0.7p), and before that at higher levels. I'm kicking myself for not selling last year @ £1.80, thinking that was the start. Still a few left in the bottom drawer in the basement!

I understand your pain Ian. The NHS is a difficult nut to crack, and 5 year lead times not expected! QVH - why we didn't get the full contract value needs explaining. The flood of CDC orders never happened. I hope Tom has the ear of government who might push the value through in reducing waiting times.
