Never take notice of brokers prices.
Shows how much I know. My last was 109 seemed a good entry point . Latest I sold one fifth of my holdings for 96p with a hit of £400 . Now I have a small war chest which ,although I still think awe will do well over time I will be adding to other shares.
My feeling is the top sector performer this year will be financials . Lloyds will surprise this year I think ,well I blinking hope so! :-)
Hard up, thank for that. Shared ownership is a way of the banks to get people getting a place to live but it does work in the banks favour as they will be getting interest on the mortgage whilst still holding a large part of the property.
Maybe not but they will still make money in the rental market , plus it’s a very good strategic move in my opinion. Also they are in partnership with Barrett’s or some other house builder so they will be getting the new builds at a discount. Not to sure if the partnership includes share of rentals. Will have to look that up. Hope we crack 50p tomorrow. :-).
Plato goodie or whoever you are what do you do employment wise , just interested.
In regard to the Citra living thread I started. What I didn’t say was that if Lloyds directors had some sense they would add lieston on the Suffolk coast.Reason being is that sizewell C has the go ahead and will take 10 years to build, (as this is the uk it will probably take 20):-).
The project will employ 10,000 on construction. Leiston doesn’t have a big rental market so rentals will be at a premium.
Just a reminder as well as being the countries biggest mortgage provider. In 2021 Lloyds had entered into the landlord market as well with Lloyds Citra homes being built in Ashord, Brentwood , Bedford. Bristol, Chesterfield, and Peterborough. Which is the start of them becoming one of the countries leading landlords.
If the price is right. This seems a buy to me now.
0.1% wow it might even go up to 0.2 % . Really looking forward to my council tax bill bet that goes up more than 0.1%. At least I will make a few grand put of Lloyds over the next few months. :-).
