Had a good look but couldn’t find anything about gsk. Changing slightly there is a good program on bbc 4 Storyville on genetics. Horizon discovery are in this field and a very good investment for the future but not now as they are not making enough cash ESP is about 30 odd p per share.
But when they brake even should be good. ABcam tried a takeover but had to pull out as a conflict of interest by Dr Jonathan Miller.

Watch Standard chartered very low sp because of problems with HK and virus.chinese gov just announced putting billions into economy Monday which should help standard. I bought at 770 so agile to go before I see any profits. Have a good week all.

Sold M&G for 223 I think.

As the sp for pru was about 1450 at the time when the split happened a few weeks later the pru sp hadn’t dropped much at all giving an overall sp for both about 1650 roughy . As mg was as you say about 250. Think I sold them for a bit more, anyway more or less made the cash on selling mg .

I have sold pru a while back but will check the sp and chart to see were it’s at in view of the hi situation. I’m definitely holding gsk now no matter we’re the sp goes as the same will happen with the split might have to wait awhile but it’s got to be ok.

Well worth it just for the split in my view. You may get one for one or two for one. Whatever it will still be good. Each split I have been in I have made a good profit, I.e. prudential being one, Sold M&G for more than the split sp. and kept pru.

You may have to wait but I think it should be quite good as their will be a big scramble when the split is announced. Quite a lot of trades over the last month or so.

Here’s a really big prediction . I bet that this is the bottom of the lift for fevertree and it will go up from here.

Left on the shelf I don’t think so. So sales are down a bit in uk but up everywhere else what are they doing buying it and putting it back on the shelf! The sharks must now be having a good look at fevertree with the sp being so low. Indeed if one shows its teeth the sp will seem to go into orbit from this sp.

Just bought another 200. My justification is that if it goes down it will go back up with the split announcement whennnnnnnnnnnnnn it comes. At least I will get a good divi in the meantime.

I think the main problem may be that the Chinese haven’t been able to give a true picture yet as to what the percentage of deaths their are from this particular virus. As it’s still early days.

As you say the news outlets go completely overboard just so they make money from selling papers etc. No sense of responsibility.

It can drop as much as it likes, you cannot dispute the fundamentals. I ain’t bovvered!

If there are people invested here who don’t know what the difference is between virus and bacterial infections I would suggest this is not the right place to invest. No malice intended , but worth doing a little reading . The internet is an excellent source of info.

I have a suspicion the split will be announced sooner than most people think.
The original time scale was 3 years if my memory serves me right. That’s now down to two.

Anyway as a precaution I have added 1000 shares . Even if the market drops overall the split should cover it( I hope!)

Just a matter of staying invested for the long term now in my case . They will still be ok in my view cash in bank no debit new factory . Alls ok unless you are trying to make a quick buck.
