To be honest, I'm not really concerned with the fact that Bergen are almost out as with their demise my thoughts turn to what the Company may be planning re finances going forward.
It's quite intriguing when you think about it as we know funding will be required for the additional drills and the money has to come from somewhere.
When they attend to Brockham, and fingers crossed they get oil to flow, then each tanker is going to be worth some $3000 to Angus and at the same time, will look a lot more attractive to the banks should Vonk decide to go down the loan route against future production.
Another option is to do a placing, something I'm also not too concerned about as Companies need funds to be able to go forward.
Coincidently, Vonk is doing a podcast today which could herald a PR exercise in an attempt to get the SP to rise meaning a smaller dilution against todays SP which also ties in with the Bergen situation.
In simple terms I think we all understand just how transformational a positive result Brockahm could influence Angus's standing as well as giving an indirect support to the other Weald players.
As a side thought I wonder what the SCC are thinking now that they know they are sitting on a fortune and whether any applications on future/concluding testing the Company wish to carry out in Balcome will be encouraged and not hindered.
As I've said, it's getting very intriguing but at least I know the shares I hold are going nowhere soon.

Fair point but is the rate is only 6.6% then 1 water truck is equal to 14 oil tankers and would be a damn sight cheaper than a new well and that's if they can't isolate the water which can easily be rectified as others have surmised.
As I say and it's only my opinion, too many are using this as an excuse to promote fear for their own agendas.
Guess it's a wait and see game.....

Why oh why do peeps think the water is a problem.
They have a SEPARATOR if needs be.
Most wells have a water content so it's not a big deal.
What is, is getting a pump (if required) and adequate onsite storage for now to cope with the humongous amounts that could be flowing.
And that's just this 1st assault the Company have just delivered...

Couldn't have wished for better news that the Kimms are connected.
If one sits back and thinks for a min, this is awesome news for the acreage UKOG have and probably soon to be confirmed when we get our results.
Will pave the way for additional horizontal drilling once the present and new drills are completed.
Beginning to wonder just how big this is all going to turn out to be.

I get the feeling that like me you think SS has kept quiet about the Portland results whilst waiting for the deal to have been completed which has now been announced.
It's a good tactic as if there is any negativity at the SP he knows all he has to do to negate it is to announce officially the Portland is indeed commercial and maybe with some icing on the cake stating like Angus, they already have oil to the surface from the Kimms.
Interesting few days coming up.

Hard one to answer as we've been locked down for months.
In that time a lot of Companies have either advanced or gone backwards so there will be those that will cut their losses whilst at the same time, there will be others that will top-slice or enter into stocks they have had their eye on.
To be honest , I can't vouch for others but having seen the 3 stocks that I personally hold just slush around always awaiting news I will halve the holding in 2 of them and the 3rd will be liquidated and move the pennies into 2 oiler stocks that should recover some of the losses I have been forced to suffer.
Falling in love with a stock is suicidal and although its not easy taking a loss, I have learn't sometimes its best just to bite the bullet and move on.
That's about all I can say as an answer and as you can see, I will neither ramp or deramp any particular stock as that's up to all that choose to invest for whatever reason.

Having been one of the victims of Beaufort, the good news is that we should all get our holding back on the Monday coming (24th).
Once peeps are able to get to their stock, no doubt action will be forthcoming.

On Monday I think it's going to be a very busy day for buyers, me included.

For those that think outside the box and therefore are aware of other happenings, just remember that the Beaufort saga is almost over nad if it all goes to plan then the assets which have been frozen till now will be returned to shareholders on the 24th.

Obviously, some stocks would have risen whilst others have dropped, but never-the-less, an awful lot of money will once again be available for trading into new/held stocks and as such, gems like here and ANGS with a very high chance of having a positive outcome will be sought.

Whether there will be a rush on Friday for FOMO of an RNS or two on Monday, one can only speculate on but as each day passes the less one has to wait for an update.

Speaking of which, I wonder what is happening at Horndean as a rig has been seen by the 'boys' and pic available on Twitter. (Thanks guys)

Must admit, it's very frustrating being so near to having a tasty top-up but unable to do nowt about it. Ah well, such is life.

I make it a daily habit of looking at all RNS's that get issued every morning to see who's up to what.

This morning, if you look at Frontera (FRR) (and NO this isn't a ramp of the Company), you will see their CEO has caught YA forward selling shares (82million odd) they were not entitled to.

It's about time those involved who short stocks are bought to book including the filth that even pervades this board so that the FCA are forced to do something which can only be good for the protection of shareholders.
By all means share this post if you agree cuz if you do nothing, you can only blame yourself when it happens again...

Shorting should be made illegal. End of.

I have just requested via email to the company what is the maximum the new pump is capable of and if they won't answer can they instead give me the make and model of the pump so with a little research the answer can be found.

Typical market games. Not the 1st company to issue RNS and the SP to drop into the red. However, history shows a sudden hike in a day or 2 when most aren't watching catching a lot of peeps out. Good opportunity to top-up for those with sound biz sense...
