From Investors Relations regarding the sale of the Russian Assets.

Intragroup debt of $1.151b arose from the debt pushdown from the topco (holding company level) to subsidiary level (POLY R). As of today, POLY INTL owes POLY R the said amount, while POLY R owes the external creditors $2.2b. For the avoidance of doubt: it’s not on top of $2.2b, it's ’s part of $2.2b. The reason why IGD isn’t reported is because IFRS uses consolidation basis for reporting. It only records the aggregate number of external liabilities, which is ~$2.4b (~2.2b in RU and ~0.2b in KZ) in our case. If we were to publish standalone KZ business accounts – only then IGD would have been visible. On consolidated basis is we reported $170m of debt to external parts, because that’s how much POLY K owed and still owes to the creditors. POLY K and POLY R were never split in the accounting see, because there’s no basis for it. Assets are still under one roof: POLY INT. Following the designation in May 23 we continued to report consolidated numbers, because that’s what IFRS requires. We added some of the reporting lines for KZ and RU for the benefit of investors to see what the country breakdown is along different lines of the is and but the basis for reporting remained consolidated.

While I understand that stated $3.7b EV of POLY R is confusing, if seen from the pov of the seller (not the buyer) the IGD of POLY K to POLY R is real, and must be extinguished. That’s why the buyer will upstream $1.479b from POLY R to POLY K, with POLY K returning $1.151b to settle IGD to POLY R and keeping the balance as cash proceeds from the sale. The difference in numbers is tax.

Polymetal to build new mining and processing plant in Sverdlovsk region with capacity over 4.5 tons of gold per year.

Polymetal plans to create a new hub for processing gold-bearing ores near Nizhnyaya Salda in the Sverdlovsk region. According to the company's corporate publication, construction of the mining and processing plant will begin this year, and the factory is expected to be launched by 2029. The gold recovery plant with a capacity of 3 million tons of ore per year will operate using CIP technology with the production of Dore alloy. After the plant reaches its design capacity, the Salda ZRK will begin producing more than 4.5 tons of gold per year. The new hub for processing non-refractory gold-bearing ores already has a raw material base: the Pavlovskoye and Maminskoye deposits, and the Pershinskoye deposit is being prepared. In the future, Polymetal plans to conduct exploration work on the Aramashevsky, Nikitinsky, and Petrokamensky sites.

As of 2022, Pavlovsky's resources for open-pit mining under JORC were estimated at 9.7 million tonnes of ore with an average grade of 2.3 g/t and a total gold volume of 0.7 million ounces. Polymetal JSC is Russia's largest silver producer and one of the leading gold miners. According to Interfax, the company produced about 39 tons of precious metals in gold equivalent in 2024. The enterprises are located in Magadan and Sverdlovsk regions, Khabarovsk Krai, Yakutia, Chukotka. Now the company belongs to the Mangazeya Group of Companies of Sergey Yanchukov. Bosh....

The CEO is deafeningly silent on liquidity and trading volumes. It's his job to address shareholders and issues such as this yet he sits and nothing. Earily silent and awkward

Jon. Create a company similar to an already Joint-stock company. Off the assets to this company. Including debt obligations and keep 50 odd million back as cash in return of sale. What have you lost. Nothing. When all this blows over the assets are there cost 50 odd million to buy back. Why then risk sanctions and send 66% of ore back across border to the assets. Are Polymetal RU transporting gold concentrate back across border to be sold in Kazakhstan under the SolidCore umbrella. You only know what has been reported across media channels. No one actually knows who M Plus are, where is M Plus listed it's not. Why is M Plus called Polymetal RU with no association to Mangazeya Mining. There's alot of what ifs. The company management are extremely oddly silent on why their stock trades at ridiculously low volumes with no explanation to shareholders as if its a Plc but not traded publicly.

Murky and very little explanation on who really is the majority shareholder. An aunt of an uncle who is second cousin to Jim who works over the road married to Jill who bought the stock.

I don't think it would all stand up listed on a mature exchange hence the backwater of an ex Soviet state where you do as you please for donkey and a few pales of water.

Kazakh gold miner Solidcore aims to raise at least $1 billion by end of 2026. Kazakh gold miner Solidcore Resources Plc (COREK.AIXN), opens new tab aims to borrow at least $1 billion by the end of 2026 to develop projects in Kazakhstan, CEO Vitaly Nesis told Reuters.

The company, formerly named Polymetal, is also considering placing up to $300 million in bonds on the Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX), Nesis said in an interview.

Solidcore, Kazakhstan's second largest gold miner, plans to produce around 15 tons of gold per year in the country in 2025 and 2026, Nesis said.

He told Reuters in an interview: "In 2025-2026, we want to borrow no less than $1 billion."

He said that the bulk of the investment would be used for construction of the Ertis pressure oxidation hub, for which $500-600 million of project financing is planned.

Nesis told Reuters that he expects the price of gold to fall in the year ahead. He said: "I expect prices to fall to $2,500 within 12 months."

"There will be no return to the levels of $1,800-$1,900. The premium to the base level will remain. But right now this is an over-reaction to what is happening in the world," Nesis said.
