Let me tell you were people like you will take us. Last year, a male Welsh politician committed suicide after false allegations of sexual harassment were made against him by certain women. No evidence was delivered to corroborate these allegations and he was never charged with committing a criminal act. He was targeted for political assassination and these vile people who made these allegations against him succeeded in their quest to destroy him, literally. Have these accusers being prosecuted for their actions? No.

There's an element of country/sovereign risk with Ecuador as there are with many South American and indeed other nations (Russia for example) and that elevated country risk will express itself through increased debt costs as lenders demand more return for higher risk lending. This is a factor that can turn an economically viable project into an uneconomic one. That's why the idea of a debt financed solution to the development of Alpala fills me with terror! I don't like debt and I don't like the extraction demanded from lenders. Debt introduces a dynamic into equity investing that i find unnerving. I don't like dilution and I don't like debt as both can corrode shareholder equity

Nevsun released their updated PEA on 26-Oct-2017. Lundin went hostile after being continually rebuffed in mid-July 2018. Lundin made friendly approaches 2-3 months previous to their hostile bid. A period of around 6 months elapsed between the release of their updated PEA and a friendly offer from Lundin

It does show the importance of the PEA and how majors rely on these documents to provide guidance on risk and confidence. Improving confidence in a project's economic viability is key to de-risking the project itself and advertising it to the world

The release of the PEA will afford potential buyers/investors/financiers/off-takers etc the first official insight into the economic viability of Alpala-Cascabel. The PEA is a risk-reduction document and as we all know the majors are looking for economic, multi-generational, T-1 projects and the PEA will hopefully put SOLG on many a company's radar

We all know that the future value of SOLG is far in excess of current market value. With that in mind I feel comfortable at this level

Based on this argument those who argue that Mather intends to turn SOLG into a miner are far off the mark. His sole intention is to maximise shareholder value through a sale of the entire company at some point down the line.

I bet SOLG is sold for around 150-200p, in time. People must remember the sheer cost of bringing mines into production and then the further costs of maintaining a mining operation. The costs are HUGE and way in excess of anything that SOLG would be able to absorb.
