I recall Ashtead being crushed down to 2p way back and FRES, (example) being crushed down to 100p in 2008 only for it to rally hard to around £11 in a year or so

It is odd though in this market I doubt any new insights would be absorbed into the price. The wider market is still in full retreat across the board. Newcrest hammered again. Equity sold, rush to cash. Might be another unpleasant day. What can one do except remain focused on company fundamentals

I see Newcrest has advertised for a Principal Geologist for their APAC section which in Newcrest's case is Australia and PNG.

trucky - I mask my insanity very well :)..kept it under wraps for years know. You have to be suffering from some form of psychological condition to agree to expose yourself to such levels of emotional torment that we've had to endure in the last couple of weeks....I'm also in SEE, FOG and SOLG and all have been hammered though I can absorb the short term losses so not too concerned at present

Paddy - What d'ya reckon? Is Steve pointing the way to a discovery of 10m oz with more to come from another 20-30k mtrs drilling?

I'm sure Sprott geologist have had access to those 'sausagey looking things' (technical term) the drillers pull out of the ground so they do have first hand knowledge of Havieron
