Newcrest staff shall not attend conference or similar events until further notice
Employees on all sites have and will continue to receive regular communication updates through the Health and Safety Department and Newcrest All Site notifications, particularly on sanitation practices and what to do if they feel symptomatic
Local communities are being updated on Newcrest’s current site practices in relation to COVID-19
Newcrest corporate personnel are working remotely as practicable
Communications to all sites have been issued highlighting safe and hygienic practises to minimise spread of infection.

Early in the day but encouraging lack of sellers. I was expecting another capitulation and high volume selling but not yet. Maybe PG's satellite update has persuaded those with a higher sensitivity to risk to hold off from offloading (understandable considering the current circumstances).

The only MM that's moved on the book. The other 5 are static as per pre-8am

If they find nothing that doesn't necessarily mean there's nothing there. They could be looking in the wrong place.

this caveat appears in the last Newcrest news release. I suspect this is normal corporate practice for an exploration company but even so I'd like to know what Newcrest's geo-modelling predicts. All this frantic, manic drilling is obviously Newcrest's attempt to provide the 'sufficient geological information' to confirm their modelling which may suggest that this caveat will become an irrelevance when the data is available to corroborate their modelling...

Anthony Harris : Chief Geoscientist at Newcrest Mining

Dr Anthony Harris is Chief Geoscientist at Newcrest Mining Limited. He works closely with exploration and mining professionals and researchers to undertake targeted field-based work and strategic science that provides new exploration opportunities through advancing an understanding of ore systems and exploration models. Anthony is the technical lead responsible for the advancement, application and integration of new exploration technologies (like Corescan and TruScan) in Newcrest and the development of new predictive technologies.

Anthony’s role at Newcrest is to enhance the skills of industry professionals via knowledge transfer and training programs underpinned by targeted work programs and research activities designed to advance conceptual models and exploration techniques. He is involved in technical guidance from exploration targeting through to building new geological models to enhance metal recoveries (having built new geological models for Wafi-Golpu, Lihir, and Red Chris). Since joining Newcrest, he has worked on a variety of Au deposit types found in the circum Pacific region, including Australia, Asia-Pacific, the America’s and the northern hemisphere.

HAD048. HAD046. HAD041 = pre-collar only - in progress...what does that mean? PG's line from this area to UNR23. If UNR23 is a drill in progress can we assume that we've hit mineralisation at 046 and 048?

PG - Each time you post these satellite images It almost feels as though I and indeed others are somehow privy to insider information! I almost feel I'm not entitled to see such information. I wonder if Newcrest are aware of these images and If so would they find them commercially sensitive though to answer my own question this information is in the public arena and publicly available to anyone who chooses to access it so I suspect this info is not sensitive
