The FD has explained in detail numerous times how buy backs don’t make financial sense for this company. I’d rather see a special dividend. I’d also have rather seen them hold on longer as the PowerWash Simulator game will prove a big money spinner. I guess that’s why Aonic have bought in just after release of the VR version of the game. All the same it’s plenty money in the bank for us and we retain a stake in Aonic which is a company going places. Maybe they’ll buy Futurlab as well to sew up PowerWash. I was hoping nDreams would do that. Onwards and upwards.

Mercia company nDreams won best virtual reality game for Synapse at the TIGA awards on Thursday night. Their development partner Futurlab also won with high selling game PowerWash Simulator. nDreams released the virtual reality version of that game on 2nd November.

I could have framed the weight test bit better to avoid suggesting it could help you lose weight on its own. Obviously it’s all down to the individual but having data on what’s driving your body gives you encouragement. Feeling something’s wrong with you can drive negative feelings like you and your behaviour are the problem. The DNA tests can act like a switch to give you something to act on and turn negatives into positives. It helped me discover gluten intolerance was a high risk factor and since cutting it out I’ve had more energy and have felt a lot better.

Went to Boots but the vitamin D tests were out of stock. At least some of the new tests are selling!

I received a newsletter this morning featuring a customer who lost weight after taking a MHC DNA test. I've tried the food intolerance and essential nutrient (mainly vitamin) tests and have had useful information from both and am off to Boots to get 2 vit D tests for before/after taking supplements to see if there's a difference. I'll report back.

Maybe they’re building up to something early in the New Year Jamrock??? I hope so.

A pal came back from London a couple of weeks ago with covid much worse than they had it before. Vaccinated but not recently as under 65 and not at risk.

Mixed bag update. They seem relieved that it can produce gas. I think people paying up on AIM admission would have taken that for granted! They’ve obviously discovered more problems and it all seems a bit flakey.

It’s worth reading their admission document from Feb 2022 in which they created the impression that the MFE220 was done and it was the bigger MFE440 that was under development. Nearly two years later the MFE220 is still in development. It’s nonsense.

If you're following Simply Wall Street you're getting advice from a cartoon bull in a suit. The text of their articles doesn't hang together. Their computer selects a historic stat and pins a generic sentence to it. There is no human context or foresight.

Reminiscent of the January RNS when they said they'd give new product launch news 'shortly' but it turned out to be 'longly'.

Their PR is mince.

In the AGM update RNS of 11th May they said a trading update for the six months ended 30 June 2023 will be provided in July.

It's still July, and furthermore, they didn't specify which July.

There is a psychological element to consolidation. If the company doesn’t issue facts on performance that can support the share price after consolidation, it will drift back to memory of what the price of the shares used to be ie. a few pence in the case of MHC. Forget about logic and maths. Management and brokers will have known about this when they forged ahead with consolidation.

I recommended peeps vote against the share consolidation. Not because I’m against them in principle, but because the timing was stupid. The new tests needed to be established and generating profit, with the figures to prove it, before consolidating. The shareholder base here is similar to the Yourgene lambs to the slaughter.

Treading water really. Perhaps not a bad outcome in this environment. Divi rise looks good but doesn't beat inflation and there are much better divis out there. They have a lot of money doing nothing in short term accounts except lose value year on year. That failed investment in Sense Biodetection shows they fell for a covid sucker stock which is worrying. It seemed unusual at the time as they only took a 1% stake due to the inflated price. That is far from their usual modus operandi which is double figure percentage in micro companies with growth potential eg. over 40% in Warwick Accoustics. Julian Viggars has some explaining to do.

The customer service does seem good jamrock. I hope they can repeat what they did with the covid tests.
