The market cap can fluctuate anywhere from £15M to £30M without any material change in the companies performance.

If you have been on AIM long enough - many should know this by now.

I like the fact that many on here are big big holders. So not much free float hanging around.

It will take something catastrophic for a mass sell-off... but most are holding out until the SWP results start rolling in over the next 2 years.

Captain if someone said your house value is £5k would you believe them. Or that you car value is 50p.

The value of CERP in the region of £15M to £50m can be water pever the MM’s feel on any given day. Until something materially substantial occurs.

Captain. the gains you saw were fictitious. The losses you see today are also fictitious... unless you sell at a loss... which perplexes me as that is exactly what a lot of people do. Grass is greener syndrome playing into the mm’s hands.

Captainswag if you knew that you would be this disappointed with a drop in SP from 4.1p then you should have sold.

So either you believed the company was somehow truly worth more because of a few tweets or imminent news or you didn’t.

Don’t believe the share price on AIM ever.... that includes the artificial rises and the short selling drops. It doesn’t relate to the company. It’s just sentiment driven fluctuations without material substance.

So many people crying blue murder because of the current share price... whether the company is worth £15m or £50m is really immaterial unless your planning on selling your shares at £50m MCAP.

So many pi’s are unlikely to ever see the greater picture of realising mid cap status... because you will sell out well before then.

What happened to the SP over the last 48 hours will only effect these type of pi’s. The ones annoyed with tweets and pump and dump sentiment driven drivel.

Big oil discovery is the only thing that really matters and CERP hold the key to the acreage that is the SWP. Those that want the big discovery made in Q2 instead of in the future are most likely investing money they can’t afford to tie up or lose.

Only matters to the short term holders and traders. Nothing new here. They were only here from 2.3p to 4.1p. Which on AIM you can get fairly easily.

Now back to the real business of the SWP.

Johnjunior... your making the mistake of assuming a disappointing SP means disappointing company performance.

On AIM the two are totally independent of each other.

What exactly is an ‘uncrossing trade’ ?

Its not that difficult to figure out if the cash in the company account + the value of the assets = £14M.

... Over only 6 trades.

Wait for the megaload increases when the herd arrives on massive new release day.

Its would seem unusual to me to sell a stock I bought at 5.2p at 6p... when I firmly believe the stock will be worth at least 7p imminently.

It definitely snaps at the notion that rule 1 is being broken : "investing money in the stock market you cant afford to lose".

Another way of looking at it would be through the MCAP - I think the company is worth £25M but I don't think it will be worth £28M in the future.

Hasn't even reached IPO price.

Well you can't say people didnt have a chance to make a decent bit of cash. SOU at +90p... and ECHO at +30p.

Time always presents opportunities. Just a matter of whether you take it or not.

Yes - but they only made it on the spread twice in 3 years... which if everyone did that would be absolutely shite for them.

Its also the reason why they can't stand long term holders.

Imagine you buy a stock - hold it for 3 years and sell.

That means the MM's made £20 from on you on 2 trades but it took them 3 years to earn it... which is pants !!

Roll on the manipulations to coerse you to sell more often and buy more often... Don't fall for it. Simples.
