Not to forget, that Dev Clever/Veative manufacture their own ‘Veative’ branded VR headsets via our Mumbai based partner QWR. There’s money in them there headsets.

n.b. As far as I'm aware, none of the big Indian EdTech unicorns have entered the VR market in any meaningful way to date. It appears more and more, the Veative acquisition was a very shrewd move.

I think you're right @RandyPoffo. In cricketing parlance, we'll be fending of a lot of googlies in September, not least because certain influential people have had to be kicked in the goolies, but come October/November we'll be knocking it for six. (n.b. timescales pure speculation on my part).

The interesting thing about that Alan Greenberg interview, was that the interview itself was not particularly about Dev Clever / LaunchMyCareer, nonetheless, Alan seemed quite excited to get the news out there. It kind of accidentally slipped into a Vox Markets type interview about Dev Clever, so it might be a bit harsh to view it as a ramping.

I mean 50 or 60 million people is quite a claim, when you consider Byju’s user base is approx 115 million (50% of Byju's supposed worth of $22bn would be very nice ha ha).

I think the key phrase he used was “there is data that suggests”. That ‘data’ has quite possibly come from Dev Clever’s recent ‘market validation campaign’, referred to in the 19th July RNS. These kind of forecasts/predictions are what market validation campaigns are all about. Quite a positive development, in any case.

Whilst we're not developing a Metaversity, these institutions (and others going forward) will have to get their VR content from somewhere. Having the world’s largest library of curriculum-aligned, interactive VR modules for STEM, now available in 9 languages, opens up these markets for Dev Clever/Veative.

I was thinking Metaversities were years away, but here we have 10 already opening up this year. Ofcourse, Dev Clever aren't developing a Metaversity, but you can get an idea of where this is going.

Hybrid education is very likely going to be the future of education. Might we see a 3 day school week in the future, with a couple of days on-line for students? Just think about the favourable impact on the environment (traffic / polution) and on teacher retention.

It's already happening in India, with the likes of Vedantu, Byju and Unacademy opening Tuition Centres, offering blended/hybrid learning.

You-Learn.net, also known as The Learning hub, is a direct to consumer App store that is scheduled for launch Q4/2022. Alan has taken some kind of ownership of it (in the project management sense, I assume), but all the content is owned by Dev Clever/Veative. See 'The Learning Hub' page: "Language Learning, Literacy, innovative Maths Learning engagement, and other portfolio development. Content built by the DevClever Plc companies"

There will be deals done with Telco companies to promote and monitise it. And, according to Alan, two pilots are about to get underway. One in an established Western market and one in an emerging market.
