In any case, Veative software is device agnostic. It can run on any headset, so it really doesn't matter if Meta come out with a super duper cheap headset, they'll just supply the software on Meta headsets rather than DPVR.
Meta Quest Pro $1,500 (6 Dof)
DPVR EduPro $300 (3 Dof)
Meta headsets address a different market.
Schools don't want or need 6 DoF headsets (degrees of freedom).
They're expensive and they require a lot of space for kids to move around in, whereas 3 DoF headsets (which track head movements, rather than whole body movements) are ideal for kids to learn whilst sat at their desk.
Also, DPVR recently announced:
"In Q4, we will start a program of introducing the best in class VR solution to our distributors and resellers in education with our Global Partner Veative Labs"
So, despite supplying both Avantis and Veative with VR headsets, they are choosing to promote Veative's EduPro globally, rather than ClassVR.

Class VR is the brand name of the classroom Virtual Reality offering by Avantis, a non-listed UK company. The product is quite similar to Veative's EduPro product. In fact, both companies buy their VR headsets from the same Chinese company DPVR, they just have a different brand name on the front of the headset and, of course, different VR content. Avantis do not have a careers platform, which gives Dev Clever an advantage in terms of UK school penetration for Virtual Reality (Dev's career platform gives them a 'foot in the door' at UK schools).
In any case, there are 100's of thousands of schools around the globe, so plenty of scope for companies in this space. It's still early days for classroom VR solutions.
Metaverse is not a company.
“It is a virtual 3D world where everyone can participate. There are different metaverses created by different people or teams.”
So, not sure which company you are referring to.

Encouraging words from Indian PM, Narendra Modi explaining India's New National Education Policy this morning:
"5G will improve access to education. Through virtual reality, the fast speed of the internet, and access to online classes, we will be able to transform education at the grassroots."
"Under the program Mission Schools of Excellence, in the next four-five years, 50,000 classrooms and 150,000 smart classrooms will be built."
"Smart facilities, smart classrooms, and smart teachings will take our education sector to the next level."
"In schools, we need to ensure we have the technology-led infrastructure and education facilities to make sure our youth are future-ready."

To date, NISA have just been promoting LaunchMyCareer on Twitter & LinkedIn, without reference to Veative's STEM VR platform. However, I've noticed recently that NISA are now promoting Veative's virtual reality offering alongside LaunchMyCareer.
Also, Veative's NISA webpage has been updated today:
"...initiative allows intro of VR headsets into 50k+ NISA schools to reach 22 million students"
https://veative.com/social-enterprise/
"NISA-Veative PARTNERSHIP
One of the largest education transformation initiatives in India
NISA has partnered with Veative, a worldwide leader in VR education. As per this partnership, Veative is able to reach over 50,000+ budget schools in India, which may positively impact the educational needs of up to 22 million students. This initiative allows for the introduction of Veative’s VR headsets, controllers, and platform into these schools. All headsets are preloaded with Veative VR content, which offers the largest interactive, curriculum-aligned, VR-based education library in the world."
Things have been quiet on the Lenovo front, but nice to see them finally promoting VR Classroom 2022 (which includes Veative Labs STEM + Dev Clever Careers platform - VICTAR).
Coincides nicely with the release of the brand new ThinkReality VRX headset this last week.
"Join us Oct 11 at 3pm ET for 'Bringing Immersive Learning to Students with Lenovo VR Classroom.' Get the latest on a wide range of immersive learning apps and content teachers can use to leverage the power of VR and a glimpse into Lenovo VR Classroom"

RNS Highlights for me:
"Through the card, students will be able...access the world's first careers metaverse."
[Great that we're now edging our way into the Metaverse - tremendous global buzz about what's happening in this space]
"Dev Clever will also partner with third party businesses, such as retailers and brands, to enable card users to be incentivised with relevant discounts and rewards for their use of the card."
[Very effective and classic way to grow subscription numbers]
"Dev Clever has been pre-marketing the CSMP and its membership cards to a limited number of schools. This has resulted in pre-orders for over 5,000 subscriptions reflecting the Company's already strong positioning ahead of the national Indian rollout of LMC this October."
[5,000 subscriptions from a limited pre-marketing campaign...the numbers could get really BIG when the full marketing campaign gets underway in October]
Article published yesterday in IndiaTVnews, essentially discussing the LaunchMyCareer platform.
