Shutting down for Xmas, isn't that part of the planning that bank holidays are no work days. personally. I can wait another week for the guys to have family time if thats what they want, I also know that some would prefer to work for many other reasons than perhaps be home alone. but decision is in the planning in any case.

Three parish councillors were invited to meet the consultant working with Angus
Energy to give us an update on the developments on the site.This also gave us an
opportunity to ask some pertinent questions. They are planning to carry out a ` workover` of well BRX4Z. They have permission to install a 95 foot rig but consider that a 55 foot one will do the work which will put in tubing for testing. This is due to start at about the end of the month and probably last for about four weeks. Other plant and equipment will be brought in. There could be some emergency flaring off but this will be contained in some shrouding that will also be installed. This was in the planning application and approved by Surrey County Council ( SCC). Angus Energy must notify SCC and surrounding residents 7 days before the workover takes place. A leaflet will be delivered to Old School Lane and other roads close to the site. Answers to some of the questions included the following : a lot of the gas produced will be used to generate electricity on the site. Excess will be connected to the grid once a cable is in position and some released as emergency flare off. All water generated from the Brockham site will be re injected and none sent off site. There will definitely not be any fracking on this site. After the appraisal of the well is completed, Angus Energy will invite SCC, MVD representatives, Health and Safety and the parish council to a meeting where their engineers will give a presentation and explanation.This will be approximately 6 months after the appraisal has been completed. The indication was that it could be around March or April. We have asked that at that time a liaison committee should be set up to monitor events over the following months and we will also be requesting that Brockham Oil Watch should have representation

The operator is keen to commence new activities, namely appraisal and production
of the Kimmeridge Clay Formation. This could commence as early as December
2018.
We are now in a position to issue the new environmental permit to bring the site up to
a modern standard and so that the operator is clearer on what is required of them in
the future and what activities they are permitted to undertake.
Taking this into account, we have taken the decision to issue the permit now, without
conducting an additional “minded to” stage with the public and stakeholders. This will
mean that the permit is issued in advance of these new activities commencing to
ensure they are effectively controlled under the new conditions (

operation of the facility after the grant of the permit.
The applicant has confirmed that he is able to meet the standard rules. There is no
known reason to consider that the applicant will not be able to comply with the
standard rules.

While they're all in A&E we could be getting the rest of the equipment onsite by close of day Friday if not before.

I wonder if Vonk has been waiting on this all along, even though he said All was in order. probably had been given an estimate timeline of............ before Xmas. LOL.
So are we going to see the rest of this equipment going onsite TODAY.
Wait a minute, Vonk always seems to have something up his sleeve, Another hold-up or a Xmas bonus. for us.

Brockham was to be producing Summer of 2017. and I realise P.Vonk has now said Xmas. I'm hoping, really really hoping he meant 2018.

So what happened to : Jonathan Eldred Tidswell-Pretorius Thought he moved from the boardroom to manage all the site work. he does have first hand experience working on oil fields. I have 100% faith in Brockham being brought online, just wonder when.

He must have known at that time a couple of weeks was just wishful thinking. he should have just said Xmas. he misled a lot of people.
