The reality is I read all of the comments on this board and I have done so for about 2.5 years whilst holding patiently and adding where I can but what I struggle with is why just one show this year, wireless? This makes no sense when we know the tech works. I get the fact that VR is slow to react but what else is holding them back? This has to be the most frustrating share I have ever held, is it the mgmt, is it the strategy, is it something else? Who knows, but at some point they have to do something soon otherwise they have to come back to the market for more money and that’s not too far away. Probably not a good idea to spend the afternoon in the pub, had a few shandy’s ?? and then i come on here......maybe a bit of frustration showing. I would like to get the 16th October and get the warrants out of the way and let’s see what happens after that. Come on Melody, for crying out loud, it’s time to deliver....!!!!!
And the big question is how much longer do the faithful LTH’s have to wait? Melody catchphrase “coming soon”
Dr Google suggests Lewis Capaldi has another 6 shows in September, the first one in the Granada theatre in Dallas on the 17th.
Harry, maybe I was too cynical, however I watched parts of the wireless festival on both my phone and my GO on all three days it was on and as far as I can see, the tech works and what we need now is to keep that momentum going. These companies need momentum to build the awareness and get the message out.
This month we have large festivals at Creamfields, Reading, Leeds, the Central Park gig to name just a few and surely even if they stream the gigs for free these are the events that will continue that momentum and build further awareness. I would pay to see Reading and Leeds myself, these are the gigs I want to see and i’m sure many more will say the same. My daughter goes to 15-20 boy band concerts a year and she would definitely pay to watch those she can’t get to on the GO, here friends are the same.
I know EVRH leave it late but I want to see us at Reading and Leeds (less than 3 weeks away) and not miss the opportunity to deliver another live gig soon that many people would want to see and gigs to me is plural not just one. Without new live gigs the share price will probably continue its downward trend and it worries me that Merian did not close at just over 2.5p at its low, although i’m sure they have that covered by now.
My cynicism comes from my frustration of seeing the share price drop again nearly 30% since the recent high just a month ago, just when I thought we’d turned the corner and the momentum appeared to be with us.
I want to see the company succeed, I want to see the momentum continue and build, not head back to where it was at the end of May.
I am allowed to voice my opinion and a little frustration. I have held for 2 years, will continue to add more when I have the opportunity to do so and will continue to hold as i’m In for the long haul.
A cynical person could argue they got their one concert in last month to deflect all of the negative communication issues and poor share price performance before they held their AGM. Now that is over, same old same old, no announcement of a live schedule even seems close, not even just a single live show and leaves us all yet again at the mercy of the shorters. Thought they’d changed their nominated advisor and sole broker to support the share price last month, well where are they now as this is obviously just heading back down.
As EVRH would say, coming soon......take that with a pinch of salt. AGM must be due, June every year so far so can’t believe they would go in to that without good news, would be carnage for AM and Co. How much notice do they need to give for the AGM?
They don’t care any way
Assuming the AGM is in June as per the last 2 years, do you think AM and Co. can actually go in to this meeting with the last 12 months share price movement behind them and hold their head high? Surely something must happen before they even dare hold the AGM and face the wrath of shareholders, can only imagine the carnage? I may be shortsighted but surely something must be around the corner?
Sorry 26 days :-)
Well if we continue at a 10p drop for the next 25 working days the shorters will have got what they want, end of June = oblivion and put us all out of our misery.
But when the GO came out the share price was significantly higher than it is now, you can only hope there is something major behind their silence, however whatever that may be will not return the SP to what it was this time last year. To oversee this SP decline as AM has shows exactly what control he has on this company, nothing, he appears to be just a puppet of someone with much more influence than he has.
ORLM, my frustration comes from several messages / questions I have sent them in recent weeks and they have not had the decency to respond even once to say they can’t actually say anything. Poor, poor, poor communication.
The most I got was a computerised response message saying someone would be in touch with me in due course, that was about 10 days ago. Maybe days means weeks, weeks means months and months mean years. Just a guess.
AGM has been mid June for the last 3 years so should only be a month away if this year follows suit. If nothing changes between now and then, AM and co are in for a rough ride and so they should be, diabolical investor relations.
This is just sad now.
Could not resist yet another top up to bring my average down a little bit more although may regret that if it falls further tomorrow.
How can there be 17.5m buys v 8.5m sells and there be a 20% drop, this is what I find confusing. I take it many of the reported buys were sells or is there something else we’re not seeing?
And that will only happen when Mr Z says so, so let’s hope he has some good news for us in a weeks time.
Totally agree MrH, it appears Mr M is as the complete beck and call of Mr Z and when Mr Z announced last September that the Quest was not going to be released until the spring 2019, that just gave the shorters additional confidence to push this lower as Mr M could not do a single thing about it and it also meant revenue streams were also going to be less than previously forecasted. Talk about about being controlled, but if you knew were going to make a massive wad if you do as you’re told, what would you do? There is only one person in real control here And it isn’t Mr M. Just my opinion.
In the RNS on the 30th April 2018 it does say in “the coming months” they were going to do so much, to me months means less than 1 year so will they do something in the next 17 days? Or is that being too optimistic?
Noticed the entry on MeldoyVR Facebook page yesterday attracted 1 comment and 18 likes and the twitter post got 1 comment and 13 likes so great marketing and feedback from the consumer. Getting this out to the consumer can only improve and can only assume their much experienced so called marketing people have something up their sleeve. Or we can but hope....
