My opinion was that they had to respond to various allegations of insider trading spouted by certain journos, due to Phil “the power” Taylor’s trade. They basically quelled the myth that info had leaked and that everything was steady away as it was, which gave those marketeers licence to do what they do best which is line the pockets of their mates imho
