Most companies in my view would have given the other party a bit longer to come up with the goods. Roland I feel knows he's under a lot of pressure after agreeing a price that is a lot less than the gas is worth on the open market. So when the deadline hit, he has turned around and said deal over, we're taking back control of Cambay. Whilst Selan still have to drill the new wells and share the revenue with SYN.
Roland is now in a position to renegotiate any price or sell to a new party.
Essentially Roland / SYN are back in control of the large gas asset worth $$$$$$$ , not sure why the market sees this negatively.
Are we suddenly going to be making a load of $$$$ from gas and then Roland wakes up to the reality of the situation. Cambay is being sold for a HUGE discount on the value of the gas??
What is going on? We have days of the teeny tiny trades.
You are right, the figures that Roland banded around about the value of the gas field may have led people to make an investment choice. Only for Cambay to be sold for much less. I still can't see what Roland is doing to fill his '37.5 hours a week'? Is he still on half salary or has that gesture come to an end?
I can't see any reason to invest here, any reason for new investors to invest. Do we just sit here for the next 18 months and wait?
NTVO are not afraid to issue an intra day RNS, so the mine reopening RNS could come any day, any time during that day. Will catch a lot of people out I think.
Yesterdays RNS talked about "Raglan Project positioned to provide early cashflow", circa 24 hours later, bang, dilution, 22% discount, £1,500,000, 576,923,068 new ordinary shares issued. Ouch.
"Certain professional advisers will receive 3,113,962 new Ordinary Shares in total, as payment in lieu of an aggregate of £8,831 of their accrued remuneration and fees for the period from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 2025."
They are still not prepared to name these? I find it very strange.
