Yes, I have to agree, I think I would probably crack a bit earlier too. When I typed the message earlier I originally wrote 24p but then changed my mind. I think 24 is more probable.
I'd say it was mid range price looking historically. Have been in this several times now and wd like to get back into this again. Have got in at this price before only to see it fall lower. Managed to get out at around 34 which gave me some beer money but this time I will resolve to wait a little longer and get in around 22 if possible. If I miss the boat (scuze the pun!) there will be other shares and other days. Good luck whatever you decide to do.
Thanks - lovely to hear from you - yes all fine - hope you are too. Trying to get enthused again and this one came to my attention. Do you have any thoughts?
Have to agree with you - is probably worth waiting a few days while the heat (hopefully) dies down. Only became aware of this because of Scott's 'week ahead' video. Am on the fence at the moment. The share price rise and the encouraging outlook of expansion for the coming year looks positive. However did eat in the Aberdeen store a year or so ago. While the look of the place is fantastic the food, cakes & service were rather 'hollow' for want of a better word. Thought I was going to be transported back to a golden era but was left feeling like I'd bought a beautifully decorated expensive easter egg only to find it was lidl chocolate inside - does that make sense??!! Maybe things have changed or my experience was just an unlucky one - it certainly was very busy. Would love to hear of anyone elses experience. GSmiley's seems to have been positive.
Well if that RNS doesn't take the price down 20% enabling them to buy the company back for the price of a bag of beans nothing will!!! What a massive mistake I made in buying into this one. Justification for me getting into this was that a country like India was only going to increase it's need for power and fuel like no other place in the world - there was a huge growth factor in it as far as I could see. The way these guys have managed to milk the market for everything its got is absolutely astounding. Sorry to all of you invested here - it really is a very sorry show.
Thanks MOS, I'm glad to be back. Lets hope we can bring some of the ol' chat back to this board. It used to be such a friendly place & I was sad to see it go the way of TGC in the run up to xmas.
Couldn't hold off any more and am back in here again. Fed up with seeing the share price sitting on this shelf - so now I've put my hand in my pocket guys you'll be able to see it plummet to 19p if my usual timing is correct ;) Still believe this is a good company and like the fact that ST doesn't pros**tute himself - he has an excellent product(s) a plan and he's sticking to it.
Hi! It's such a shame this downwards plunge- the market is so mercinary! So predictable that the price would take a plunge this mornging. I believe it's because the rns is full of 'maybe' potential, the price has taken a beating. Pretty much all of us know that Simon Tucker is a good lad and really is working for the best outcome for the company which is definitely on a positive 'onwards & upwards' slant. Will use the situation to pick some up if they go a little further! GLA
Hi! Thought I'd pop my head round the door of the SRT BB, see what's goin' down and it appears that yet again it's the price, ha ha. Like you MOS I decided to duck out of here for a while. Felt it had done all it was going to do for a while and thought I'd make my money work for me somewhere else for a bit. Have some sheckles put aside for when the tide turns. Miss the old days of daily banter though. Hope you're all doing OK. I'm sure like me although you're not putting digit to board you're all still checking in now and again.
Morning all! Been a bit quiet on the board since the demise of JTD - just proves what a stalwort of this board he was. Thought I'd say hi. Anyone any ideas how long this slide is going to continue and where it will stop. I think we could see it dip under 32 but if it speeds past that then we're looking at 29 ish. Anyone any views?
Thanks Laureate et al for that interesting piece. Feel like we have a guardian angel! Hope you are OK.
Morning all! This seems to be on a little slide. Selfishly hope it continues a little so I can pick up some more :)
Tried but it was removed :(
Yes, Alfie may not be wrong. However this share has no proven track record for us to make assumptions on yet. It could well be a dip that we have just experienced but how do we know? To me the graph with it's ups & downs has taken a distinctly downward trend from where I'm standing. Experience tells me that I'd rather watch from the sidelines over the next couple of months - some people are braver than me. Truly hope my hunch is wrong and that everyone here gets a good return. I'm happy, as I have my profits that I got from dipping in & out of RBS after taking my money out of here. So, even if this does take an upward trend, I can get back in with a bigger pot that will more than make up the difference of me paying a couple of pence more. Good luck with your choices. Would never want to wish anyone a bad lot - we're all here to share our experiences and hopefully make a sheckle or two along the way :)
Oh wow! You've done well to control yourself 70%+ and I was happy with our 2%+!!! I think RRR's got to that point where it's like that summer game where you throw a ball containing a water filled balloon to each other and any time now the timer is going to click in for the little needle to come out and burst it. First thing would have been OK, but now it's just too dangerous. There's nothing worse than hitting that sell button to only find the 'cannot execute' sign pop up as you see all your profits / capital draining away like a precious stone heading towards the plughole! Stay strong.
I wish I had more too but then again been burned getting caught in the hype and getting stuck with stuff for an eternity. I had made a promise to myself to sell if this got to 35 but it's looking so strong at the mo it's difficult to find the will power to push that button. Maybe other people have made similar promises and are selling on the news and have much better discipline than me. Oh dear, should I be stronger?? Just love this share and really think it has much more to give, so I'm going to hang with it. I'm pretty hard nosed about my blue chip investments but the AIM is such a different animal. You did well to get in at 23. Like you I've settled down with my trading as have badly misjudged the entry point of some of my portfolio. However I try to look at it as a life lesson. The money lost is only the equivalent of some fandango share trading course and somehow the lesson sticks better when it's your own money and you've only yourself to blame :)
Yes, fine thanks. Just not here as often as usual as school hols keeping me away from the computer :( (I suppose that's a good thing really). I agree that the rise is small but then I don't know what size order people were hoping for. Maybe it's not quite as large as they'd wanted. However a steady rise always seems to stay around a bit longer than a sharp one, which then gets over done and plummets like a stone the next day. I get the feeling you guys, like me, are hoping to be in this for a little while and would like to see sustained steady growth rather than the volatile pattern of say the oilies. I like the way my blood pressure gets a rest when I look at SRT! Hope your getting a chance to enjoy the good summer. Not sure where you are but hope it's not where the rain is!
At last, some much awaited news. Lovely to see this ticking up now. Happy days :)
Don't worry Eco - Alfie is obviously having a bit of a pmt rant at me for opting out. I've made him feel all insecure and all he can do is post quaisai aggressive posts at me. Alfie FYI - not that you'll be interested, I put my money straight into RBS and made a shed load. I do this to make money, not friends. There's no loyalty in the stockmarket and while its is right to have faith in a share it shouldn't be blind. In future, save your pathetic patronising 'buy high, sell low'' posts for someone else.
Thanks for that info - will bear in mind. Good luck. Will be checking in and getting in again if things turn positive :)
