Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Sandy,
Sense as usual and seems clearer. Thanks.
Therefore my only worry is , is this based on the bank advancing or is ap having this deal anyway. If he does then surely vast are in trouble , and vast have wha5 20bill shares. I couldn’t see the part that said it’s conditional, forgive me if I’m just missing it.
Also why did he not wait til news of production, is it because there is no agreement, why why why
Womo,
I see your point, I guess like in every drama there are so many variables.
In the end perhaps it needs to be made as simple as possible in order to determine where and what will happen.
To me it’s
1.Yes ap could have delayed this , why?
2 Is this conditional on the bank otherwise they just keep the 20% and we pay atlas through income generation and clear the total debt over 2021
3.monday.
A. Early rns re shipment news and amount , this will wipe out all the Friday drama , thankfully
B. No rns and price falls to maybe 15 and then recovers slowly though week in anticipation of the production/shipment news
C. Even after a or b the share price may not rise significantly, that aim! So then it’s onto bank finance and Zimbabwe news where this price will skyrocket I believe
What do I kmow, bugger all but it’s my thought pattern, would welcome any posters views who are far more knowledgeable. Thanks
And one last thing. I see there were all sales at around four yesterday. And nobody knew yet the news didn’t come out until market closed...????????
Good morning.
It’s come to light as the bank have no doubt gone through what they consider urgent in order to proceed. Now whether ap knew weeks ago that they specifically wanted it who knows.
However the bank at any point previous to Friday may have not gone through with the finance so why would ap have bothered to gain shares. You can therefore complain? However if the bank in March said’ you have a conflict and we are going to offer you money 100% then he has acted ina propriately as far as I’m concerned.
Just the same as a bank saying yes to me , I come home and think’ yes I have the loan’
I then supply the bank with a few more details along 5he way then they indicate nearer the time that they require four guarantees to my loan as the climTe has changed,I say why now.
They say, do you want the bloomin loan or not.
One thing that worries me, well two things is where does it say him having shares is conditional on the bank advancing our great terms as a poster said.
And also why did t he wait til the shipment went and money in bank before he announced as this is next week. I5s madness.
Monday the shares price falls?......
Podcast to follow I imagine Monday with news of shipment date And news from bank maybe.
Surprised there aren’t fifty posters on here
My guess is the following. Probably totally wrong
News tonight need3d to be put out so clear run now
Monday runs re product and shipping date. This should stabilise the price at 17 I hope. Slow rise to follow.
Then term sheet week after or after that.
Early dec confirmation
Jan zim confirmation.
I so hope I’m right. If we get the shipment details as planned and for the predicted amount most people will forget what happened today , in the end all that matters in my opinion is the production and cash in bank as far as most sitting on the sidelines ready to invest.
If we have this I don’t think many will care at that point whether we have 15b or 18 b shares.
Good luck all on Monday. Fingers crossed. Have a good weekend.
Just a hobby
No no no. I’m just a long suffering shareholder that had 7m three years ago and now have enough to sink a ship and me at this rate unless this comes good next week lol
I think Tommorow there will be a lot of discussion on here
Sandy,
Where are you this fine evening. You must have seen the letter?
Computer , I didn’t mean your point wasn’t important , I merely meant that it isn’t important to what was agreed etc. Apologies.
I get your point but it doesn’t matter , the deal was set and the terms agreed.
Vast had nothing apart from bp. This company would have collapsed without it and all shareholders money.
I’m not over the moon but you can’t complain after the deal is done.
Ultimately it will save this company.
And as I’ve said before, will any of us complain about him next month if the share price was .50 for instance
The facts are itbwas a condition of coming to vast and we will earn £10m minimum fornthe next ten year plus.
It’s a no brainer.
What’s annoying is why didn’t he leave it til after the money is in for production. He would still have had time to slot it in before bank agreed. So I presume he thought there would be less damage now considering there is so much good news coming and he doesn’t want anything to tarnish that?
Not trying to compare but bp bit like a vintage Ferrari Dino.
I offer you the car that has a value of 1m as it’s never been looked after. You buy it but the condition is you spend money on it fornyears until it’s worth £5m.
I keep moaning as youbtell
Me the costs keep going up, I still know it’s worth so much more so I pay.
Then the Ferrari Dino is sold for 5m.
However I put in the deal that I still want 20% of proceeds as I sold it cheaply to you.
This is bp.
I still don’t get how people thought these raises were ‘shocking’ ‘ awful’ it’s the basis of getting a mine into production or indeed a Ferrari.
It’s no more complicated to the illustration above , well the principle of it.
Oh apart from if I sold it I may have looked like Del Boy, however business is business.
Ap is Del Boy.dont judge a book by its cover. Lovely jubly.
Ben.
Yes understood.
I agree with all you wrote.
People will think he’s greedy but he’s made allowance for taking less than he could have that’s for sure.
It’s just crap timing however maybe the bank have pushed this facility forward as finance agreed.
Agree also bem that ap should have to wait to release his shares but let’s me honest.
He knows more than we know so he will hold them til over one and make a killing or he won’t , nobody knows.
We can all speculate.
All that matters is we knew he owned 20% and we know there was always a conflict and that a bank would never agree a deal on this basis.
So this isn’t news really, just the dam timing
Harrison.
Interestingly with the last raise a few weeks ago thenprice has been stable so no reason to think it won’t again because this actually solves a problem.
THe previous raise was seen like all other raises. A kick in the n...
I personally saw all raises as absolutely needed to create a mine which will produce millions!!!! Why many didnt I will never know considering wages, legals , mine costs don’t grow on trees.
Anyway although people can see this as another kick in the n... , at the end of the day if it secures finance then bloomin marvelous. No cash spent to pay ap group.
Has to be paid somehow folks.
Ok interesting.
Let’s be clear. When news arrives like this the world and his aunt feels they have the right to lose their rag. Well as always after 50 posts the platform gets quieter and the sensible posters appear.
Well I’m waiting for that and I’m sure a lot of positive will come from those sensible posters. However let’s dissect this.
1. Ap group always owned 20%.
This is old news so why are people surprised ,
2. Of course a bank would see this as an obstacle. Get real people. It’s a conflict and messy.
3. I would rather they take these shares at .10 now and is less based on mine value at 70m.
Therefore all conflict gone. Ok another 2.8 m shares but this problem was always goingbto bebthere. People have brought this up over the last year on this board,
4. We have a clear position, company clear of confusion. If we had no news due then this would be seen by most as pure stupidity, but the bank want this dealt with.
5. Now costs are from the company which include ap directly like the rest of us.
Everyone can think this was perfectly timed , maybe it was but it was always a drinker of a problem for a bank,
Now if there was no finance but we could clear atlas this wouldnormwouldnt be happeneing. Yes ap has managed to getbthe company to pay all mining costs but he got the money for 600k. 80-% vast.
I seriously think people need to see this as positive.
Bank happy, finance nearly there, production confirmed. Only issue is if the bank say no they have proceeded to get these shares that will rise over the next weeks so then they can sell them all at 100% profit before the bank day no then the share falls back????????
One way or another the ap group will come out smelling of roses but if indeed the bank confirm it’s a condition then what can vast do? Refuse finance?
Baserite
That post was funny. Made my day.
Have a good weekend all
I agree with both last posts hence sticking with eee. It’s one of the good ones.
Like some others but majority , take your money and run. These been a magic run for a lot of recent companies but most have been dead for years and years.
Then again if you feel the potential is there why sell however long.
It’s all fun and games. I’m in here for a while. Fingers crossed.
Dharrison.
Agree. I sliced some but still stuck with the stake so can look at it in other ways.
Yes agree eua, ggp but 5% of all aim go like this. 50% collapse and the rest is gambling.
So from now on I’m trading. I’m sick of it.
MMS manipulating everything. If you can’t beat them join them I guess
Now vast is classic example of trading for years. 10% a time for people. But now on cusp for great continues growth. Inwill
Never sell or trade til this monster is at least 1.44. No way. This is real growth.
Although my understanding of eee is pretty straightforward to production like many so will sit on this for another couple months
It’s a minefield!!!!!
How can this share go back to where it was pre good news. It’s ridiculous.
And people wonder why people trade and take their profits quickly. Only way on aim it seems
Who said 6p.
No chance today.
4.60 to 5.
Much more to come though I imagine. Typical aim spike and sell out I imagine
Eric Eric
I have just tried to buy £5kand Itbwill
Easily give me shares. When do you think it will be hard to buybthem ?
Agree dharrison
Slow and steady as she goes.
