It will be a huge challenge and preventing corruption will be a gigantic hurdle that needs to be addressed.
However if all goes well it will be the best thing that has happened in South Africa for many years. The building of the two new power stations has proved to be a bridge too far, let's hope they get it right this time.
There is no rail link to Vele, not even part of the way, besides they would need to build load-out station.
to get the coal to Mussina & truck it from there.
I just hope there are no nasty surprises when they try and restart Vele after all these years.

Yes Vele requires an upgrade before it can go back into production, and although the engineering
has been done they would still need to do the construction work which in my opinion would take
approx 6 months.
I think it is worth remembering that only 21% of shares are held in public hands equating to approx 30 mil shares,
which in the grand scheme of things that is not a lot. So it is the minority that are controlling the share price as they
are the only ones trading. It only takes 300 people with 100,000 shares and there is your 30 million.
