When you stand back and appreciate the big picture of what the world is going through at present, it is hard not to conclude that current events with CoronaVirus are going to ultimately end up being catalytic for renewables.

As difficult as that is to reconcile in some ways, as people are dying and going through enormous stresses, these dark times are creating a need to rebuild and a tangible desire to evolve (who really wants to go backwards with fossil fuels now after these pollution free days and clear skies). It seems pretty clear that CV19 will force a global paradigm shift and create the runway for a growing energy transition to really accelerate to full tilt and Bushveld to really soar beyond levels we have seen before.

I fail to see how anyone looking beyond the immediate day to day can't be excited about what lies ahead for this company.

Unfortunately we are currently on a market that is seemingly incapable of acknowledging the gravity of the strategic, global play here, even though it has delivered fundamentally again and again, yet is happy to pump and dump shallow paper thin stories all day long. I am sure I am not the only who notices that the trolling never contradicts the amazing strategic play being made by Bushveld and always focuses on the immediacy. It's a traders market and unfortunately Bushveld have far more class and panache than the market does. Thankfully we won't be here forever.

Entirely correct Pdub and thank you for your posts today. I have really enjoyed reading them. Fortune's sense of ethics and fair play towards all stakeholders within BMN is one of the reasons I remain so happy to be invested in BMN. Aside from our strategic positioning to help SA and the world rebuild from CV19 both through energy storage and construction, it is reassuring to know that someone so trustworthy is at the helm.

Apologies to those having to read the earlier discussions. It is a real shame, frustrating and tiresome that such characters feel such a need to attack Bushveld again and again. Even at times such as these, there are still those who gain morally questionable gratification from kicking retail investors again and again.

It's hard not to suggest some collusion between the trolling and MMs this week. The 25% systematically managed drop on so little is unreal. And all culminates in a Friday trolling and the lowest point of the week. It seems textbook.

Its a complete sham this week. 5 days of rising prices, clearly a restart is coming - albeit we probably shut down much less than some realise, dropped on 5 figure trades and not moved up on 6 figure ones. Started the week at nearly 16p, ending it closer to 12.

Absolutely scandalous really.

A mine isn't a light switch that you turn on and off. Clearly some parts of the mine have been kept running. Shipping hasn't stopped either. Fortune was explicit about being in a position for a fast ramp up. I imagine that statement is more true than some realise.

South Africa has an incredible opportunity ahead to come out of its lockdown and really take the front foot and drive its own transition to renewables, creating jobs, modernising and rebuilding its economy and energy infrastructure so that as electricity demand recovers and.grows over the next few years, the grid is stable and finally just works.

There is an opportunity for a real paradigm shift ahead. You can bet Fortune is thinking exactly the same thing. Personally I can't wait to see BMN and SA really show its hand in a world falling out of love with fossil fuels.

It may be quiet-ish now but profitable, growing companies driving the hot topic of the energy transition in areas coming out of lockdown and in sectors allowed to restart work are going to be somewhat in-demand soon - and at a time that many other companies will start to show falling earnings.

Exciting times.
