From ONS
Non-store retailing (predominantly online retailers) sales volumes fell by 2.8% in November 2022, continuing a downward trend seen since early 2021, as the wider economy reopened and people could return to shopping in store; they are still 18.2% higher than their pre-coronavirus (COVID-19) February 2020 levels.
So online sales still 18% higher than pre covid..
Jtan,
So you think the company stock is worth buying but want to buy at a lower price.. we get it! Why don't you just come back when you have bought in at your desired price instead of continually posting negativity on a board where the majority are down on their investment?
I'd understand if your were of the opinion the company is going to fold with your reasons and were posting continually posting negativity but you actually want to buy in?
Y11.. do you think the fund that upped it's stake to 10% is gambling too?
I'm not saying it's not going lower but if you think the share price is too low then the sensible thing is to start buying in tranches not all your pot in one go.
Interesting that Sami's official leaving reason is to pursue "other interests" . Doesn't sound like he is being pushed as would have left straight away in my opinion. He is not walking into another job either. Hopefully some major corporate activity going to happen. Make sense to merge with someone else with current market as it is.

not sure if already posted but doesn't sound negative
"Point being …. When they won’t offer Longs on margin we are going up"
I think you're being too cynical. As when they don't offer longs they also don't offer shorts either. Only closing trades.
I think this has more to do with volatility on a particular stock. Anyway good discussion. Hopefully we see 70p by the end of the week!

Okehurst - they do not bet against 'punters' . They hedge against both longs & shorts. Not in the business of prop trading. You've got the business all wrong... Most people lose money with them because they use leverage they cannot afford.
